In advance of his first solo album 'You Can Dream', Black Eyed Peas' apl.de.ap releases his new single 'Mama Filipina' and its music video.

apl.de.ap has a solo studio album titled "You Can Dream" in the works. As a pre-cursor to the effort, he has unveiled one of the album's singles "Mama Filipina" and recently released a music video that accompanies the song.
This video is directed by Michael B. Chalt. Some of scenes featured in the newly-outed video include captures of the Black Eyed Peas' member playing soccer with kids and hitting the shore to enjoy sunset.
"Mama Filipina" music video aside, apl.de.ap joins Black Eyed Peas when the band make a live performance at 2009 Teen Choice Awards. He along with will.i.am, Taboo and Stacy Ferguson a.k.a Fergie deliver their hit single "I Gotta Feeling" at the annual event which will be aired on August 10 at 8 P.M. Eastern on FOX.
