Ja Rule addresses feud between Eminem and Mariah Carey, stating that 'there really shouldn't be any [diss] records being made.'

Ja Rule, who teams up with Mariah Carey in one of "Obsessed" remixes, gives his opinion regarding Eminem mocking the songstress in single "Warning". He tells SOHH, "It all stemmed from an Eminem comment. With him saying he peed on her or some s*** like that, I don't, you know, come on."
"Real talk, there really shouldn't be any [diss] records being made," Ja Rule continues. "[laughs] It should be a lot of swinging and swinging. But hey, it is what it is ... I don't feel like -- I don't have to insult a woman. Even if he did do that, let's say he did do that, you're kissing and telling now? You a chick? You Superhead? You kissing and telling and s***? I don't know."
Before Ja Rule takes side over Eminem's mockery, Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon has also commented on the insult song. While Ja Rule directly addresses the issue, Nick chose to go implicit in his defense statement. He wrote on his Twitter, "I will permit no man to narrow or degrade my soul by making me hate him. Be patient in the moment of anger and escape a hundred days of sorrow."
