NBC has released the list of 40 acts that will compete for "America's Got Talent" live on stage. After the two "The Vegas Verdicts" episodes last week, the judges are leaving American audience to vote on who deserve to be in the Top 20, Top 10, Top 5 and eventually the winner.

The Top 40 acts will again be divided into four large groups with the first one begin showing their talents on August 4 starting 9/8c. With the new system, the acts are not given a chance to perform for the second time unless the judges request them so as a challenge.

Unlike in previous seasons, a one-hour result show will be conducted a day after the performance night, on August 5. Mariah Carey and season 2 winner Terry Fator are scheduled to appear on the episode.
