Adam Lambert may remain coy about the growing speculation of his sexuality, but his mother Leila Lambert has let slip some facts dealing with the much talked issue. Asked by E! News about report that her singer son will confirm he is gay on the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone magazine, Leila answers, "I would rather not answer until it comes out."
In further phone interview, Leila also mentions she has already signed a contract with "American Idol" that prohibit her to discuss Adam's personal life in anyway without the show's permission. "We signed a contract with Idol and unless it has been set up by them, I'm not allowed to answer," she tells E! News.
"American Idol" camp gives no comment just yet on the statement made by Adam's mother. Adam himself, in the meantime, still remains tight lipped on New York Post's Page Six's story claiming that "a well-placed magazine source" has confirmed he will come out of the closet on the next issue of Rolling Stone.

you know what people, you need to get over this guy. He's got lot of issues and is the biggest one is his loyalty to Satan. He is a satanist and if you don't care now, believe me, later you will... So what? I mean seriously, Adam has the most amazing unique voice, incredible artistry & phenomenal delivery in like forever... I could care less if he's a pod being with purple polka dots. I also think he's drop dead fine…regardless of his orientation. I’m nearly old enough to be his mother and I have every single idol live & studio performance he did and I LOVE them! I’ll absolutely be one of the first in line for anything his voice graces. Adam is so grounded, & personable, & talented that all this ridiculous speculation does is give him more publicity, which makes him a smart cookie too, now doesn't it! ;)
Adam has been open about his sexuality all along so what's the big deal here? I'm straight does Adam care? I think not. He's proudly gay, good for him, I don't care coz I still love him all the same. Adam rocks!

Bloggers must stop saying 'come out of the closet'. Adam has been out for a long time. A better phrasing would be 'unnecessarily and publicly announcing something we all already know and getting paid a ton of money for doing so (kudos for Adam for punking the insatiably naive and cojonesless media.'
so....this explains a lot. i have been a little confused why Adam seems so reticent to just put this whole annoying issue to rest, and now we know. if his family signed a contract not to discuss, Adam definitely did. very lame of 19. boooo!
The kid can blow, sorry poor choice of words, rather I shouls say he can really belt it out. Wheter he is gay or not should't be why you buy his album or not. I am a conserative guy and I plan on buying his first album....
