AceShowbiz - Young country music singer Taylor Swift lends both her vocal and famous face for a public service announcement (PSA), promoting the importance of hearing. The PSA is made in partnership with Sound Matters, which is described in its official site as a starkey hearing foundation initiative.
"As a recording artist, it's pretty imperative that I have good hearing," Taylor says at the beginning of the PSA. "I need to hear every note clearly. Taking care of your hearing isn't hard, it just takes a little common sense. So, don't lose the music, listen responsibly - Sound matters."
As for her singing career, Taylor Swift has been enjoying chart success as her album "Fearless" has sold for another 62,000 copies per Nielsen SoundScan, leading the set to win the No. 1 spot on the U.S. pop album chart on Wednesday, February 25. The success thus marks the album's 10th non-consecutive week atop the chart.
