Nominations for the yearly People's Choice Awards have been unveiled and young stars, like Miley Cyrus and Zac Efron, are counted among many of the award's contenders. Both Disney stars will compete for a new award category, Favorite Star Under 35, which is presented to mark the award show's 35th anniversary and People magazine's 35th year in existence.
Totally, there are 32 names listed in the new award category. Some other famous celebs who also make the list include Taylor Swift, Shia LaBeouf, Rihanna, Chace Crawford, Blake Lively, Eva Mendes, and Daniel Radcliffe just to name a few.
Awards winners are decided through fans voting which is underway at People's Choice Awards' official site. Balloting will continue until December 7 later this year. The event itself will be aired live on CBS from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on January 7 next year. Rapper-actress Queen Latifah has been billed to serve as host.

Miley Cyrus and Zac Efron in the same category as great actors and singers like Leonardo diCaprio, Amy Adams, Keira Knightley and Alicia Keys?! This new category is a disgrace. You put no-talents with huge talents. And you know all the teeny boppers are going to vote for Miley and Zack, which doesn't mean that these two are good professional actors and singers in any way.
Favourite Star under 35?! That is so random. They should make it Favourite Star under 25. Anyways, I'd vote for Keira Knightley any day. She's a fantastic actress at only 23 years old.
Daniel Radcliffe all the way. He's easily the best on the list. The accent, the talent, the blue eyes, list goes on.
Blake Lively? Really? Why would she be on this list? I havent seen her do anything of merit? She could win if it was "favorite person mugging for the camera"
