Apparently, "Speed" star Keanu Reeves won't be stretching any part of his body anytime in the future. Responding to the recent speculation on him being the elastic superhero in the Wachowski brothers' "Plastic Man", the 43-year-old didn't need a long time to put off the flaming rumor.

When asked by MTV about the truth of the speculation at the 2008 San Diego Comic Con, the co-star of Sandra Bullock in "The Lake House" revealed, "[it's] not true for me." Adding further, he stated, "It might be true for other people but I haven't heard anything about it." Though nixing his involvement, Reeves noted that he is keen on working with the Wachowskis once again.

Reeves' latest movie project include the remake of Robert Wise's 1951 sci-fi film, "The Day the Earth Stood Still". In the 20th Century Fox' tidbit which is coming out on December 12, he portrays Klaatu, an alien messenger taking the human form to warn human being from the impending danger. Co-starring Jennifer Connelly, Jaden Smith and Kathy Bates, Reeves acted under the direction of Scott Derrickson.
