The comedian Ben Stiller is going to team up with DreamWorks SKG to bring "The Return of King Doug" to the big screen. Variety reported that the 42-year-old actor is going to produce the comedy fantasy film for the studio.

The star of "Night at the Museum" series will co-produce the film through his Red Hour Films. In producing the pic, he will be accompanied by his production house's partners Stuart Cornfeld and Jeremy Kramer as well as Closed on Mondays' Eric Gitter. Additionally, the husband of actress Christine Taylor may also appear in the movie as the star.

Stiller is last seen starring in "The Heartbreak Kid" opposite Malin Akerman and Michelle Monaghan. He will next be seen in "Tropic Thunder" alongside Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Matthew McConaughey and Nick Nolte among others. He also lent his voice to animated film "Madagascar: The Crate Escape". The last two films will hit theaters on August 15 and November 7 respectively.
