Preview of 'Ugly Betty' 3.16: Things Fall Apart

Betty is up for one potentially unpleasant surprise in the episode 3.16 of "Ugly Betty". Through a sneak peek of the upcoming episode, it can be seen that when companies all over the country are collapsing, the economic turmoil will hit Mode as Claire Mead revealed that all of the account had been cleared out.

To be aired on Thursday, February 26, the episode entitled "Things Fall Apart" will see Betty making a surprising discovery while analyzing Mode's budget for the past year with Marc. As if that is not enough, she also has to deal with increased attention from Matt and the knowledge that old flame Henry has posted some unexpected news on Facebook.

Anne Hathaway Rumored to Open 2009 Oscars With Hugh Jackman

Anne Hathaway is believed to have been recruited as one of the artists singing and dancing with Hugh Jackman at the opening set of this year's Academy Awards. Breaking the news for the first time, Life & Style quotes a source, "Anne is rehearsing at the Kodak Theatre [site of the Oscars] in Hollywood today."

In addition to Hathaway and Jackman, Beyonce Knowles has previously been rumored to join the opening singing-and-dancing number at the annual event. Furthermore, Vanessa Hudgens and her boyfriend Zac Efron, who was said to present an award at the event, may also make a contribution to the set.

LAPD Investigating Leaked Pic of Rihanna's Battered Face

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) are wasting no time to conduct an investigation to find the person who leaked a closeup photograph of Rihanna's battered face, which was first made public by TMZ on Thursday, February 19. LAPD, moreover, also encourage anyone who has information about how the photo got out in the first place to contact the department.

In a statement issued on the same day, LAPD confirmed, "The unauthorized release of a domestic violence photograph immediately generated an internal investigation." It was revealed further, "At about 7 P.M. on February 19, 2009, the Los Angeles Police Department Media Relations Section began receiving numerous inquiries about the release of a photograph associated with a domestic violence incident that occurred on February 8, 2009, involving entertainer Chris Brown. The photograph appeared on an entertainment website."

Trey Songz's New Single 'Brand New' Revealed

"Brand New", the fresh material from rapper Trey Songz has come out. Also available on his MySpace, the track is reportedly produced by Christopher "Tricky" Stewart and co-written by The-Dream. It is also claimed to be featured in Trey's forthcoming third major studio effort "Ready", which is due to come out in summer.

In between his tight schedule to finish his new album, Trey Song is scheduled to play a one-off concert at indigO2 in U.K. on Sunday, March 29. Joined by J. Holiday, he is expected to deliver a new song from his soon-to-be-released record.

Wes Craven Talks About Possibility of Directing 'Scream 4'

Director Wes Craven has addressed the mounting rumor circulating around whether or not he will direct "Scream 4". Talking to Bloody-Disgusting, the creator of many horror films confessed on what it would be needed to bring him back to helm the fourth film for the popular '90s horror movie franchise.

"It would take it being really as good a script as the first one was," the 69-year-old explained, adding further, "and the pay day reflects what I've done for that company and what Ive gone through on Cursed (laughs)." When pressed further on the possible storylines, he insisted, "I don't know his ideas at all. But they have made a deal with Kevin [Williamson] to write."

A bunch of promotional photos of "Dancing with the Stars" season 8 has been released in anticipation of the approaching premiere date. Showing the celebrities in their dancing pose with their partners, the photos also tease the couples in their costumes.

The dancing competition will start on March 9. In the season premiere, each couple will dance one piece and another one the next week before the live elimination.

Rumors have been mounting that Jake Gyllenhaal plans to propose to actress girlfriend Reese Witherspoon after the actor was seen ring shopping late last week. The hunk, per OK! magazine, paid a visit to his favorite jewelry store Fred Leighton in N.Y.C. and spent four hours there looking for a ring.

"Jake spent most of his time in the room where they keep the rings," a source told OK! "He looked really serious and was taking his time."

Lil Wayne Pushing Back Rock Album, Announcing New Tour Dates

Lil Wayne has put his rock-inspired album "REBIRTH" on hold until a month ahead of the original release date on April 7. Having already shot a music video for the effort's lead single "Prom Queen", he is now set to release the record on May 19.

In addition to announcing the new release date for "REBIRTH", Wayne also adds more dates for his national "I Am Music" roadshow. Supporting acts, such as T-Pain, Keri Hilson, Gym Class Heroes and Gorilla Zoe, who have accompanied him on tour since December 14, 2008, will be coming back as his guest stars.

'High Life' Welcomes Trailer

Crime comedy movie from director Gary Yates, "High Life", has shared a look into the film via its first trailer. Timed at 01:39, the trailer previews how Dick and his pals plot the perfect plan for one last heist. It also teases how they cannot stand being around each other and serves to be a hilarious portrait of male-pattern stupidity.

Teaming up Timothy Olyphant, Stephen Eric McIntyre, Rossif Sutherland and Joe Anderson as Dick, Bug, Billy and Donnie respectively, "High Life" follows a group of morphine addicts who has enough of botching jobs and racking up prison time for years. Having planned on one last perfect heist, Dick is faced with one major problem, his crew is so rife with fear and loathing.

Kelly Osbourne has completed her latest rehab stint, Metro reports. The TV personality and singer, moreover, is said to have been seen shopping in Malibu with her mother Sharon Osbourne.

Back in January, Radar Online broke the report that Kelly Osbourne has voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed rehab located outside the L.A. area. Mother Sharon Osbourne did confirm the report, stating "Yeah, Kelly's in rehab," but declined to reveal the nature of Kelly's addiction.

Clay Aiken Reportedly Gets Fired by Record Label

Clay Aiken has reportedly been dumped by recording company RCA Records, which becomes the home for "American Idol" stars, including Kelly Clarkson, Chris Daughtry and David Cook. The rumor starts swirling in the media after Aiken's name, message board and press materials are no longer found on the label's official website.

Clay Aiken has also been suspiciously absent from the opening of the "American Idol" Experience at Disney World on February 14, only to add more fuel to the rumor of his removal from RCA. An official announcement has not arrived, but is expected to come out sometime soon.

'New Moon' Official Title and Logo Brought to Light

"Twilight" sequel will no longer be called simply as "New Moon". Bringing out the latest scoop from the vampire drama franchise, MTV News provided the artwork logo for the adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's second novel and with it, laid bare the official title of the highly anticipated sequel.

Exposing that the sequel will be called "The Twilight Saga's New Moon", the title's artwork stays true to the look of the first movie though swapping in an orange tint and a subtle crescent moon. It also enlists the official U.S. release date of the second movie from the "Twilight" franchise, which has been set for November 20.

Longer Preview of Jonas Brothers' New Song 'Love Is on Its Way'

After a short sneak peek of Jonas Brothers' new song "Love Is on Its Way" arrived through Disney's movie surfers, another video footage giving a longer preview to the track has emerged, revealing more on the song's lines. Taken from the band's upcoming movie "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience", it features Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas performing the ballad song in a park.

In related news, a spokesperson for Jonas Brothers denies rumor claiming the band have formed their own record label under the name of Jonas Group. The representative furthermore explains that Jonas Group is a management company formed by the brothers' father, Kevin, and longtime artist manager/promoter Philip McIntyre and confirms it has indeed signed Honor Society for a production deal, not a record contract.

Josh Turner, a country music singer who is best known for his debut album "Long Black Train", is expecting his second child with wife Jennifer Ford. Confirming the report is his representative who tells People that the couple is expected to welcome the arrival of their upcoming baby this summer.

Aside from the confirmation, Josh's representative doesn't share any other detail to People though. It is also not mentioned if Josh and Jennifer have found out the sex of the baby.

'Iron Man 2' Story Detail Unraveled

An interesting tidbit about "Iron Man 2" plot is coming out. In its article about the work production designer J. Michael Riva did for various movies, including for the much awaited "Iron Man" sequel, NPR unveils that Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark will be seen puking in a toilet in the superhero movie.

Pointing out that the production designer has got his hands on the list of sets and plot point for the sequel, the trade noted that the first item on Riva's list enlisted "Tony, in the Iron Man armor, pukes in a toilet." The report is further strengthened by Riva's comment, saying "I design a toilet. My big job for the day. After that I can go home. My kids ask me, 'What'd you do today, Dad?' I designed a toilet!"

LAPD Investigating Chris Brown for Attempted Murder on Rihanna

Hot on the heels of the on-going investigation that the authorities have been conducting against Chris Brown for his alleged attack on Rihanna, the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office reportedly request that the R 'n' B singer to be investigated for attempted murder. Bringing the report to the surface is a source close to the investigation, E! News claims.

Investigation on the felony is conducted based on the allegations that Rihanna provided to the authorities earlier this month, during when she testified Chris threatened to kill her during a heated argument on February 8 which then led to him attacking her. She claimed at that time that Chris put his hands around her neck and choked her, causing her to lose her consciousness.

Involving, a turtle, a dog and a cat as witnesses to the murders, the episode sees the guest starring appearances by John Schneider and Michael Weston. The former has previously appeared in an episode of the show's spin-off "CSI: Miami" while the latter made some credits in "Scrubs" and "House M.D."

Ciara's New Song 'Love and Sex and Magic' Feat. Justin Timberlake

A new track called "Love and Sex and Magic", which was previously leaked with only Justin Timberlake singing on the hook, has arrived, having Ciara's vocals added on the lines. Reportedly produced by Timbaland, it is expected to appear in Ciara's upcoming third studio record "Fantasy Ride".

A music video for the single is scheduled to be shot on February 20 in New York. Diane Martel, who helmed Ciara's music videos for "Promise" and "Like a Boy", has reportedly been appointed to direct the video. However, no words are available to confirm whether Justin will make a cameo in the video or not.

Four More Action-Packed Clips From 'Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li'

"Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li" has teased out more action footage with the outing of four fresh clips. These four clips give more on the film's storyline than the previous ones. Three of the clips focus on the grown-up Chun-Li, played by Kristin Kreuk, as she battles the baddies, whereas the other clip, "House Warming Gift", presents young Chun-Li as she watches her father being beaten down by Michael Clarke Duncan's Balrog.

In "Learn Some Manners", Chun-Li pins a man on his desk after he tries to avoid answering her question. After getting the information she needed, she tells him that he needs to learn some manners and never puts his hand on a lady. Meanwhile, the "Any Last Words" clip shows how Chun-Li escapes the baddies' torture, and the "Bison Battle" provides the snippet on her fighting sequence with her nemesis, Bison, portrayed by Neal McDonough.

TMZ has made public the first picture of Rihanna's bruised face, taken shortly after her alleged altercation with Chris Brown on February 8. The pic, which currently has made its way all over the web, shows the singer having a swollen-bloody lip, two black eyes and marks on her forehead.

"Rihanna - The Face of a Battered Woman," so read the line that accompanies the shot, featured on TMZ on Thursday, February 19. No further information has been provided by the site though. At time of writing, no words have been offered by Rihanna's camp regarding the shot.

Sean "P. Diddy" Combs has set on stone a release date for his upcoming sixth studio album "Last Train to Paris". Working with The-Dream, Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, The Neptunes, Marion Winans, T-Pain, Rodney Jerkins and The Souldiggaz among other producers on the set, he plots to drop it in U.S. on September 22.

"I'm ushering in a new movement called 'train music'," Diddy says. "I am going to show the world a new refreshing side of me. [The album] is deeper than any other stuff I have ever made. It's a profound love story. I've been a businessman for the past two years. It's time for me to focus on being an artist again."

Last Three Episodes of 'Pushing Daisies' See the Light

Shelved but not forgotten, "Pushing Daisies" will continue its journey to complete the second season. However, the series' remaining episodes will not see the light of day on TV but will be screened at Los Angeles' Paley Television Festival in April instead.

The series was picked up for a second season last year by ABC, but unable to pull up the ratings, it has since been canceled. There are three more episodes to go and the screening is scheduled to be held on Sunday, April 19 at Hollywood's ArcLight Cinema.

Confirmed: Linda Hamilton in Active Negotiation for 'Terminator Salvation'

Linda Hamilton could reprise her role as Sarah Connor in "Terminator Salvation" after all. After months being speculated over her possible involvement in the newest "Terminator" movie, the Golden Globe-nominated actress who is most well known for her particular role in the first two "Terminator" series has finally spoken up about the issue.

In an interview with MTV, the 53-year-old confirmed that she is in talks to reprise her role in the McG-directed action thriller. "We are talking," she fessed up. "I haven't read it yet. I don't know what direction they will go in." She then added, "My contribution would be voiceover. I would probably be very happy to loan my voice depending on what the material is. Wait and see. They're already writing it. We've been negotiating it."

British actor Simon Pegg has publicly confirmed that he and wife Maureen McCann are expecting their first child. Speaking backstage after BRIT Awards on Wednesday, February 18, he said, "My wife is five months pregnant. We haven't announced it yet as we want to keep it hush-hush."

"I'm hoping for a baby girl," the 39-year-old star revealed before then quickly adding, "but I really don't mind what we have. We're thinking of having it in America as the baby will then have dual citizenship. I'm really looking forward to it. It's going to be amazing." Maureen is due to give birth to the baby in June.

My Chemical Romance Not Interested to Make Music for 'New Moon'

My Chemical Romance reveal to have no desire of scoring music for "New Moon" despite their Gothic rather vampirish trademark appearance, which is considered as natural for the "Twilight" sequel. Frontman Gerard Way says, "I don't think so. We're very choosy. ... There were a few films that we didn't do the song for because it didn't fit."

"I guess a lot of people would say that a vampire movie would fit," Gerard explains further. "But I would disagree with that these days. Even since 'The Black Parade', I would kind of disagree with that. I don't know if we'd be interested in that."

Ten Clips From 'Watchmen' Are Available to View

In addition to the previously-released four snippets of "Watchmen", six more new clips have been uncovered. Some of the clips, "Don't Leave Me" and "The Superman Exists and He is American", highlight on Billy Crudup's Doctor Manhattan, while the rest bring forth footage of the other heroes, like Jeffrey Dean Morgan's The Comedian and Jackie Earle Haley's Rorschach.

One of the snippets, "Escape", came in courtesy of Yahoo! Movies. It displays the scene in which a band of special force team breaks into a building to ambush Rorschach. However, before the police are able to make their move, the hero who hides his face behind a mask with ink blots bursts out with a fire gun in his arm. Aside from the fresh clips, three B-Roll videos have also been outed and they display a sneak peek behind the filming of this action fantasy movie.

Four Sneak Peeks of 'House M.D.' 5.16: The Softer Side

Four new clips are released as a sneak peek to "House M.D." episode "The Softer Side". First one is Taub mocking Thirteen's ex, second one is the discussion by the team of doctors of what they should do to their young patient, third one is on Cuddy and Wilson suspecting something out of House and the fourth one is on House stops breathing and revived.

In the episode that airs February 23, the team encounters a teenage boy who collapsed from severe pelvic pain after playing basketball. Tests reveal the boy has genetic mosaicism, or both male and female DNA, and the boy's parents inform House and the team that the boy is unaware of his condition.

Nearly two weeks after Rihanna and Chris Brown's alleged altercation that left Rihanna injured and Chris arrested, family members of the Barbadian singer break their silence to People magazine about the music stars' love relationship prior to the incident. They, moreover, open up about what they expect Rihanna to do in the future.

Chris, according to one of Rihanna's relatives, "flew so far under everyone's radar that we just didn't think he was that [abusive] type." The relative adds, "He was always looking after her needs, making sure she was happy." That was why, Rihanna's family found Chris' alleged attack on the songstress as a shock.

Ruben Studdard's brand new song entitled "Together" has come out. Marking his comeback to the spotlight since his 2006 album "The Return", the single has been premiered on AOL Music on February 19 and will be available via digital retail on March 17. Described as a soulful and deeply romantic song, it will be featured in his forthcoming studio album "Love Is".

Ruben will drop "Love Is" across U.S. on May 19 under Sony/ATV's Hickory Records in partnership with 19 Entertainment. He is in the meantime on tour with critically acclaimed musical Ain't Misbehavin' through May 17.

'Gossip Girl' Speak of the Week: 'Basstalk' Plus New Poster

To bridge the gap and anticipate the return of "Gossip Girl" in March, The CW have released another Gossip Guide. Speak of the Week is lesson no. 22 which is Bass-talk. It discusses the language used by Chuck Bass and those addressed to him such as Basshole, Basstard and Mother-chucker. It links to lesson number 6 which is A Blair Witch-Hunt.

Speak of the Week is released regularly as a side dish to the main telecast of the show which is taking a five weeks break. It will return on March 16 with the episode "The Age of Dissonance" which sweep poster can be viewed below. Chuck is having trouble dealing with the mystery of who his father was and how he spent his spare time. Nate catches Vanessa flirting with another guy, and in a moment of desperation, reluctantly turns to Blair for help - which turns out not as he expected.

Rumor Has It, Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia Still Together

Contrary to multiple reports claiming Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia have broken up, a source who works on their show "Heroes" tells E! Online, "They're still together." Greater than that, another source even claims, the celebrity lovers "seemed very happy together", adding, "actually, there was never a time when I saw them unhappy."

Additionally, a source who is close to both Hayden and Milo informs E! Online, "Milo and Hayden are an intensely private couple, so everything out there in the press is speculation and hearsay." The unidentified source reveals further, "Only they know what's really going on. They never acted 'together' on set, and they still aren't acting 'together' now."

Video Premiere: Kid Cudi's 'Day 'n' Nite'

A music video, which features Travis Barker, to support Kid Cudi's single "Day 'n' Nite" has been premiered. It presents the rapper, who appeared in Snoop Dogg's variety show "Dogg After Dark", coming out as a cartoon silhouette walking from distance. As he comes closer, he turns to a real life human and makes his way down the pavement of a city.

"Day 'n' Nite" is a single appearing in Kid Cudi's 2008 mixtape "A Kid Named Cudi". Produced by Dot Da Genius, the track is also expected to be included in his upcoming debut studio album "Man on the Moon: The Guardians", which is due for release in summer.
