Heidi Montag Offers Thoughts and Prayers for Rihanna and Chris Brown

Heidi Montag is the latest Hollywood celebrity who comments on the public apology, issued by Chris Brown on Sunday, February 15 after allegedly beating up girlfriend Rihanna last weekend, telling Hollyscoop her "thoughts and prayers are definitely with both of them." The reality TV star is quoted as saying, "I don't know what happened there ......... It's a crazy situation and I just pray that everything heals."

Country music star Carrie Underwood, meanwhile, has a neutral point of view about the incident happened to Rihanna and Chris. She comments, "I don't think anybody actually knows what happened. I have no advice because, thank goodness, I've never been in any kind of abusive situation. You hear a new one every five minutes, and some of them are getting kind of ridiculous. I really hope everyone will lay off and just let everybody who's involved figure out everything first."

M.I.A. Offered On-Bed Live Performance for 2009 Oscars Show

M.I.A. is still expected to make a live appearance at the 81st Annual Academy Awards as Laurence Mark and Bill Condon, the producers for the event have offered her a large bed placed on the center stage of the Kodak Theater. The two producers come up with such idea due to the singer's condition after giving birth to her first child.

"She's eager to perform... We've said things like, 'We're willing to have her enter on a large bed'. We'll make it as easy for her as we can," Mark says. No words on whether M.I.A. will still be singing at the annual event or not though.

Reese Witherspoon and Robert Downey Jr. to Fight Aliens in 'The Days Before'

Two of Hollywood stars, Reese Witherspoon and Robert Downey Jr., are likely to share screen in "The Days Before". According to Production Weekly, the "Four Christmases" actress and the "Iron Man" actor are showing interest in the action sci-fi project, in fact they are in talks to star in it.

While it has been reported that the movie will chronicle a man's attempt to convince the world that the end is coming as aliens invade the Earth, it is still unclear on the potential characters Witherspoon and Downey Jr. are negotiating for. Still, there's a chance that they will work together with "Wanted (2008)" helmer Timur Bekmambetov, who is also reported to be in negotiation for the directing part.

Nine Inch Nails Plan Temporary Timeout After World Tour

Rock band Nine Inch Nails will temporarily withdraw from music industry after their upcoming tour is wrapped up, so frontman Trent Reznor confirms. Plotting to hit the road with Jane's Addiction, they promise to bring "much more raw, spontaneous and less scripted" gigs.

"In NIN world, 2009 marks the 20th anniversary of our first releases. I've been thinking for some time now it's time to make NIN disappear for a while," Reznor writes on the band's official website. "Last year's 'Lights in the Sky' tour was something I'm quite proud of and seems like the culmination of what I could pull off in terms of an elaborate production."

Kanye West to Appear on 'VH1 Storytellers'

Continuing the tradition, Kanye West is set to take center stage of "VH1 Storytellers" where musicians perform and tell the stories behind each song. He had appeared before a selected audience on Friday, February 13 at Los Angeles' Sony Stages and his taped segment will be aired on VH1 Saturday, February 28 at 9/8c.

It is an hour long show that chronicles West's account on the songs in his latest-released album "808's & Heartbreak". He also did the favor of singing his past hits while giving an intro to each of them on what inspired him to write.

Yamcha in New 'Dragonball Evolution' Character Poster

A new character poster for the live-action adaptation, "Dragonball Evolution", has been unraveled. Part of the series of character posters, which earlier gave out Chow Yun-Fat's Master Roshi, Justin Chatwin's Goku and Emmy Rossum's Bulma, this fresh one-sheet presents Joon Park's Yamcha.

In addition to the poster, a video interview of Justin Chatwin and Emmy Rossum talking about the manga adaptation has also been found. Sitting down with a Japanese TV, the two describe what they think about their individual characters. While Chatwin speaks about Goku and his inspiration to play this fighter, Rossum discusses on the relationship between Goku and Bulma.

Preview of 'House M.D.' 5.16: The Softer Side

House hides something from his colleagues and is forced to tell the truth after he is found not breathing. In the next episode of "House M.D.", Cuddy and Wilson suspect something is wrong with House when he starts acting way too nice. When they discover the shocking answer, they must face the prospect that House may be changed forever.

Meanwhile, the team encounters a teenage boy who collapsed from severe pelvic pain after playing basketball. Tests reveal the boy has genetic mosaicism, or both male and female DNA, and the boy's parents inform House and the team that the boy is unaware of his condition. They consciously chose a gender for him when he was born and raised him accordingly, never telling him about his unique condition. However, when his condition worsens and his life is threatened, the parents wonder whether they made the right decision.

'WarGames' Could Get Reboot Treatment

Production Weekly has come out with an interesting tidbit about "WarGames". Through its Twitter feed, the trade breaks out that Leonardo DiCaprio is looking forward to work with MGM in producing a remake to the John Badham-directed 1983 sci-fi hacker film.

Aside from the possibility of the 34-year-old actor producing the reboot with MGM, no other detail about the proposed feature film project has been shared by Production Weekly. Meanwhile, both MGM and DiCaprio have yet to release any statement regarding this report.

Miley Cyrus' brand new song called "Butterfly Fly Away" has been revealed through a video footage from Disney's movie surfers. Featuring her father Billy Ray Cyrus, the song is listed in the soundtrack album of her upcoming film "Hannah Montana: The Movie".

In addition to providing a first look into Miley's duet track with her father, the show presents choreographer Jamal Sims teaching some dance moves from Miley's "Hoedown Throwdown" music video to the show's host. It also features several "Hannah Montana: The Movie" scenes, one of which captures the singer feeling shocked when finding out that she is flown to Crowley Corners, Tennessee instead of to New York .

Cousin Says Rihanna Getting Her Life Back on Track

Giving updates on Rihanna's latest whereabouts and condition is her cousin, Yvonne Fenty, who tells Radar Online the songstress currently is in Barbados and getting her life back on track. "Everyone is looking after her--she is just trying to catch herself," Yvonne confirms in a statement.

"None of this is as bad as everyone makes it sound. Her injuries weren't near as bad as people make them sound," Yvonne goes on to dish about the bruise Rihanna suffered from Chris Brown's alleged attack on Sunday, February 8. "Yes, she is going through a rough time and is upset, but she is thinking positive and resting," Yvonne informs Radar Online. "She will be fine. Rihanna is holding up well."

The 81st Annual Academy Awards has been reported to be made merrier with the appearance of Hollywood latest hunk Robert Pattinson. On Monday, February 16, HitFix came out with the confirming news that the "Twilight" star has been appointed to be one of the presenters at the coveted awards show.

The confirmation was outed days after Laurence Mark, a first-time producer of the 2009 Oscars, hinted to E! Online on an appearance by "Twilight" star(s). "I promise you, there will be a presence," the producer stated. "You'll see. I promise there is and on more than one occasion." The Academy have yet to release any statement regarding this report. Meanwhile, it is still unclear whether Pattinson's co-star Kristen Stewart will also be seen on the show.

The first promo of Disney's original movie "Princess Protection Program" has been given out. Putting two uprising starlets, Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez, as the lead characters, the TV movie is set to debut on the channel on June 19.

Lovato plays a royal named Princess Rosalina who is threatened by an evil dictator aiming to take control of her country. She is whisked away and placed into the Princess Protection Program, a secret agency that watches over imperiled princesses around the world. Mason, an agent with the program, hides Princess Rosalina in his own home where, with the help of his daughter Carter (Gomez), she adopts the cover of an ordinary teen named Rosie.

Continuing the story of young Logan briefly, this TV spot is entitled "Brothers" as it takes the focus on the relationship between Logan and Victor Creed.

This spot begins with a quick-paced glimpse of the events shown in the first TV spot. Then, it continues to show the bond Logan and Victor Creed establish during their early years when they are involved in one war after another. After a scene where the two are told that they are sentenced to death, snippets of the romantic relationship between Logan and Silver Fox take over.

"Hoedown Throwdown" music video was debuted during the airing of Disney Chanel's "Night of the Stars" on February 16. It was aimed to replace Miley's "The Climb" music video, which was supposed to make its debut in the special programming but leaked earlier this month. One of the clips entitled "Cut to the Chase" displays the scene where Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas make their way in between traffic while their screaming fans are chasing after them. Despite the urgency of escaping the mob, Joe and Nick still have time to stop and pose for some of their fans who are sitting inside some of the cars.

Michael Phelps Glad to Escape Charges in Marijuana Pic Case

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott has, on Monday, February 16, confirmed that there will be no charges filed against Michael Phelps in relation to his smoking-marijuana case. "Having thoroughly investigated this matter, we do not believe we have enough evidence to prosecute anyone that was present at the November party," Lott said in a statement.

"We had a photo and him saying he was sorry for inappropriate behavior. He never said, 'I smoked marijuana.' We didn't have physical evidence," Lott went on detailing on the reasons that prompted authorities not to charge the gold-medalist swimmer. "Michael Phelps and I agree that something positive needs to come from this incident and that is a message of not using drugs. My perspective is that the law pertains to everyone and our drug laws are to be enforced," Lott added.

FOX Speaks Up on Joanna Pacitti's Disqualification From 'American Idol'

Finally a statement from FOX is released regarding the disqualification of Joanna Pacitti from the Top 36 of "American Idol". Offering his words is FOX reality chief Mike Darnell who emphasized that the dismissal is strictly based on the "link" that host Ryan Seacrest has mentioned earlier and not due to the professional background that Pacitti has prior the audition.

Seacrest spilled last week that the producers do not want to risk anything when they found out that Pacitti has a rather close relationship to 19Entertainment execs, Michelle Young and Roger Widynowski. Darnell confirmed this saying, "Unfortunately, it was just a perceptional problem, that there (was) just too close a connection between (Pacitti and the employees), we felt." He added, "I think it was handled correctly."

Courtesy of John Foo's official website, the picture revealed the first look at lead character Jin Kazama, who is portrayed by Foo. In the photo, bare-chested Foo is seen standing behind a waist high chain-link fence with blood running down his forehead and chest.

Jin Kazama is a young and talented fighter with dark power within him. P. Diddy's new major studio album will be called "Last Train to Paris". Confirming the news was the rapper himself during the airing of MTV's "Making the Band 4" season three part 2 on February 12.

Aimed to follow up Diddy's 2006 studio album "Press Play", the new record will have contributions from T-Pain and Danity Kane's former member Dawn Richard. It will also contain electro hip-hop songs, which feature the heavy use of Auto-Tune.

"Heroes" co-stars Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia have broken up, US Weekly exclusively reported in a post on its site, dated February 16. Citing a source close to the couple, the news media claimed their separation happened within the last week and was prompted by "a lifestyle conflict."

According to the source, Hayden, 19, and Milo, 31, "were in very different places." She "is young. She likes to go out in the Hollywood scene and that's not his style," the source explained further, adding that the actor, on the other hand, "has been concentrating on work on his production company [Divide Pictures]."

Salma Hayek Weds Francois-Henri Pinault in Paris

Salma Hayek and her fiance, Francois-Henri Pinault, have wed in Paris on Valentine's Day. The two, who are parents to one daughter, tied the knot in the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondissement in central Paris, according to Monday's online edition of the weekly French newsmagazine Le Point, which is owned by the Pinault family.

While neither of them has acknowledged that the wedding did take place, Sixth Arrondissement Mayor Jean-Pierre Lecoq confirmed to the French news agency Agence France-Presse that the actress and the billionaire businessman's wedding was a small affair. Hayek's spokeswoman, Cari Ross, confirmed in an e-mail on Monday, February 16 that the marriage had taken place in Paris on Saturday. No further details were provided though.

Official Trailer of 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' Pops Up

The official full length trailer of "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" has finally made its way out. Premiered via Yahoo! Movies, this video footage, which was first debuted in theaters attached to "Friday the 13th", allows viewers to get a better look at the footage exposed in the bootleg version.

Reportedly, some of the robots displayed in this trailer include the motorcycle-transforming Autobot named Arcee and the transforming red hydraulic mining excavator which is known as either Scavenger or Demolisher. Scavenger or Demolisher is one of the six Constructicons that will form the Devastator. Beside the two robots, Scorponok, Jetfire as well as The Fallen are also spotted.
