Alexandra Burke Reportedly Signing Deal With U.S. Record Label

Alexandra Burke's debut album may be released under Epic Records as the singer has reportedly signed a deal worth 3 million pounds with the company. "Epic think that Alexandra can follow in Leona's footsteps," a source from music industry reveals.

The source adds, "The US market loves women with big voices - and Alex certainly has that. If she comes close to Leona's success it will be a job well done." Alexandra herself tells The Sun that she is inspired by Coldplay's victory at 2009 Grammy Awards saying, "I'd love to crack the US. After seeing COLDPLAY take away the awards at the Grammys I was so inspired."

Gwyneth Paltrow Not Yet Seen 'Iron Man 2' Script

With the production fast approaching and her expected to make a return as Pepper Potts in "Iron Man 2", Gwyneth Paltrow has yet to get her hands on any script of the "Iron Man" sequel. The 36-year-old actress spoke about the matter to MTV News at the premiere of "Two Lovers".

"They haven't even given me a script yet," the Academy Award-winning actress for "Shakespeare in Love" revealed. "They don't tell me anything. I could be, like, a costume assistant in it. I know nothing." In the interview, she also let out that she has no idea about the relationship between Potts and Tony Stark, saying "I have no idea what it is. [Director] Jon Favreau said it would be good, so I believe him."

'Idol' Champs Attend 'The American Idol Experience' Gala

A star-studded celebration that makes up a huge reunion of "American Idol" alumni was conducted at Walt Disney World on Thursday, February 12. All the competition's season winners such as David Cook, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks, Fantasia Barrino, Ruben Studdard and Kelly Clarkson took time out to come first hand for the gala.

The event is dubbed "The American Idol Experience", a reference to the new attraction that Disney creates for its visitors. The theme park's newest addition allow people aged 14 and above to experience how it feels like being on the stage which is made as a replica of the one in Hollywood. One can audition, get voted by live audience and come back for a finale that night. The winner will get Dream Ticket that will allow him or her to skip being in line for future audition shows.

Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law Talk 'Sherlock Holmes'

In the on-set interview with MTV, Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, the two leading actors of Guy Ritchie's "Sherlock Holmes" open up on various topics from the script to the dynamic between their characters, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson respectively. While careful enough not to spoil the plot, the co-stars share that one of the interesting things from the movie is the "bromance".

Admitting that he thinks the casting of Downey Jr. will make the project "something exciting", Law revealed that the movie will explore the relationship between Watson and Holmes, saying "And as soon as I met him, we got on very well - which is a good sign - and we both agreed that we wanted to really make this a piece about the relationship between Watson and Holmes." Downey Jr. added, "I think the word bromance is so passe. We are two men who happen to be roommates who wrestle a lot and share a bed."

"After dating Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez, the 16-year-old Jonas Brother is available - and looking for a Love Bug of his own."

Nick himself, who admitted he briefly dated Miley, has never publicly acknowledged that he and Selena are an item. He's been quoted by Parade magazine as saying, "Dating is great. I love girls."

Two Actresses Lock Lips in 'Desperate Housewives'

Something is steaming on "Desperate Housewives". Things are heating up between Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria) and Susan Meyer (Teri Hatcher), not in the sense of 'bring out the claws' but rather in the form of a kiss.

An exclusive report by Celebuzz reveals that the two characters will lock lips in a future episode and romping will be going on. This remains an unconfirmed story but when the rep for creator March Cherry is approached for comment, they said they will "leave it to the imagination." No clue yet in which episode the kiss would occur.

Appearing on-stage as an opening act, Beyonce delivered "Halo", the ballad song coming off her third solo studio album "I Am...Sasha Fierce". Meanwhile, Jennifer, who claimed triple victory at the awards, sang "The Impossible Dream".

'The Parsifal Mosaic' and 'Bourne 4' Are Likely Two Different Films

"The Parsifal Mosaic", and the fourth installment of "Bourne" series, "Untitled Bourne 4 Project", could end up being two separate movies. The speculations rose to the surface after Variety reported that Universal Pictures are in talks for screen rights to "Mosaic", the espionage thriller novel from author Robert Ludlum.

While "Mosaic" is shaped up to be the first major project produced by Captivate Entertainment, the company that controls screen rights to Ludlum novels, the trade reported that Universal will be using an original idea for the fourth "Bourne" film. The report contradicted the remark made by "Bourne 4" producer Frank Marshall earlier, which suggested that the new "Bourne" film could use "Mosaic" as its source material.

A music video in companion of Trey Songz's new single called "Takes Time to Love" from the soundtrack of upcoming movie "Confessions of a Shopaholic" has been premiered. Starting with the R&B singer marking February 13 as the release date for the comedy movie, it switches to the time he lingers in studio to record the song.

Several footage from the film starring Isla Fisher has also been included in the video. The actress, who portrays college grad Rebecca Bloomwood, is seen attending a party and drawing guests' attention when she slips, loses her balance and accidentally falls on a woman.

Preview of 'Survivor: Tocantins' Episode 2

Another season of "Survivor" hit the TV screen last night (February 12) with its Tocantins edition. 16 castaways are traveled to the most remote area of Brazil and led to their camp which would be their home for the next 39 days. While the season premiere is full of insights to each of the survivors, the second episode will be marked with the first challenge.

In the episode of "The Poison Apple Needs to Go" which airs February 19, the tribes will be competing in a basketball game which is conducted in the middle of a shallow water. The game which is in the middle of a heavy rain, produces one shot "that changes everything".

"90210" star AnnaLynne McCord is on the verge of becoming one of "New Moon" cast ensemble. Responding to the speculations that she is considered to play Heidi in the "Twilight" sequel, the 21-year-old confirmed to MTV News that she is indeed in talks with director Chris Weitz and his team.

Of it, she gushed, "We are in negotiations. It's definitely something I would love to do; as most people know, I am obsessed with vampires. I'm a true-blood 'Twilight' fan all the way." She, furthermore, revealed that the hold-up for the deal is her hectic schedule. "There's some scheduling conflicts, and we're trying to work that out now," she explained. "We'll see what happens with it, but hopefully - fingers crossed - it'll smooth over and we'll be able to work it out."

While both Rihanna and Chris Brown still remain silent on the alleged battery they reportedly involved in on Sunday, February 8, a source close to the songstress has outed a statement claiming Rihanna is convinced that Chris has cheated on her. Due to such fact, she then hires people to follow Chris whenever he has tour.

"Rihanna hired people to follow Chris whenever he went on tour," E! Online quotes what it calls as "stealth and very deep-inside Rihanna source" as informing. "I know he was followed throughout the whole leg of his European tour and sometimes [the United States] as well. Anytime she couldn't be with him." The source goes on to dish that Rihanna did that because "she was sure he was hooking up with other girls."

U2's New Song 'No Line on the Horizon'

Title track which is taken from U2's upcoming twelfth major studio album "No Line on the Horizon" has arrived. Featuring mid-tempo jams, it is written and composed by the band's vocalist Bono and backing vocalist David "The Edge" Howell Evans.

"No Line on the Horizon" will hit the market on February 27 in the Republic of Ireland, March 2 in the rest of Europe, and a day later in U.S. It will be available for purchase in five formats, including Standard jewel case with 24 page booklet, and Digipak format with 32 page color booklet and fold out poster.

Eliza Dushku, the depicter of Tru Davies in "Tru Calling", apparently wants to get involved in "Iron Man 2". While making an appearance on the Howard Stern Show on Sirius/XM Radio on Thursday morning, February 12, to promote her new television show "Dollhouse", the 28-year-old confessed that she would love to play Natalia Romanova a.k.a. Black Widow in the sequel.

"They're doing 'Iron Man 2,' and I'm so perfect for the Black Widow character, that they just need to get into it. They need to understand," the actress who also serves as producer and executive producer for "Dollhouse" campaigned for herself. "I just learned Russian because I had to play a Russian girl in 'Dollhouse.'" Before leaving the studio, she added, "Maybe we could all tell them. Let's get on a Black Widow 'Iron Man 2' campaign."

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher's love for fur has prompted People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to include their names in its annual poll of Worst Dressed Celebrities. "She may be a cougar, but that's not helping fur-loving Demi Moore in the eyes of animal lovers," the animal activist organization stated in a statement on Thursday, February 12, when announcing the list of the entire nominees.

Demi and Ashton were enlisted among some other notable names, ranging from actress to music star, who were nominated for this year's predicate. Pop superstar Madonna, hip-hop artist Kanye West, and singer-actress Lindsay Lohan were among the other celebrities up for PETA's worst dressed title.

Winners of this year's NAACP Image Awards in music category have been announced during a live ceremony at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on February 12. Jennifer Hudson was the one who won big at the annual event, collecting three trophies.

Jennifer claimed her first victory as Outstanding New Artist, beating down Anthony Davis, Jazmine Sullivan, Leona Lewis and Estelle. "The Secret Life of Bees" has come out victorious at the 40th Annual NAACP Image Awards. On Thursday night, February 12, the female-driven drama that has dominated the awards nominations with nine nods walked away with two top honors, the Outstanding Motion Picture as well as Outstanding Directing in a Motion Picture for its helmer Gina Prince-Bythewood.

For the Outstanding Motion Picture title, the movie about a tormented young girl finding solace in the world of beekeeping beat out "Cadillac Records", "Miracle at St. Anna", "Seven Pounds" and "The Family That Preys". As for Gina Prince-Bythewood, she bested over Darnell Martin of "Cadillac Records", Patrik Ian Polk of "Noah's Arc: Jumping the Broom", Spike Lee of "Miracle at St. Anna" and Tyler Perry of "The Family That Preys".

Honoring the contribution of people of color in arts, NAACP Image Awards have handed out its trophies to variable TV shows like "Grey's Anatomy", "The Young and the Restless" and "American Idol". The biggest winner however, was "Tyler Perry's House of Payne" which scored Comedy Series, Actor, Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress altogether.

Apart from nabbing the Outstanding Drama Series, "Grey's Anatomy" also took home Outstanding Actress in Drama Series through Chandra Wilson. Its spin-off "Private Practice" meanwhile, grabbed the Supporting Actor in Drama Series through Taye Diggs.

Denzel Washington-Starrer 'The Taking of Pelham 123' Gets Trailer

Columbia Pictures have presented an intense look into "The Taking of Pelham 123" through the thriller's trailer. Said to be released in theaters on February 13 attached to "The International", the trailer courtesy of Yahoo! firstly serves as an introduction to Denzel Washington's character Walter Garber, what he does for a living and his ordinary days at work.

The video footage then cuts to present criminal mastermind Ryder, who is portrayed by John Travolta. Walking into a crowded subway station, Ryder quickly points his gun at Pelham 123's train operator and takes over the train. Soon after, he reveals to Garber that in exchange for the passengers he takes as hostages, he wants a large ransom that has to be paid within one hour. Under pressure to save the hostages, Garber uses his vast knowledge of the subway system in a battle to outwit Ryder.

A third child is on the way for Mira Sorvino and her husband of four years, actor Christopher Backus. In a statement issued to US Weekly to confirm her third pregnancy, the actress opens up, "We are overjoyed at the thought of welcoming a new addition to the family. With each child, the love in our hearts has expanded beyond what we ever imagined was possible."

Aside from the confirmation, Mira doesn't spill the beans on how months along her pregnancy is. She also doesn't mention if she has found out the sex of her baby. Her due date hasn't been made public too.

Chris Brown Said to Leave Sin City, Planning to Meet Up With Mom

Chris Brown is no longer in Sin City, sources have told E! News. The R 'n' B performer was claimed to have been leaving the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, where he's been staying since his alleged fight with Rihanna over the weekend.

A representative for the hotel couldn't immediately be reached for comment on Chris' departure, but a source on the property said Chris' friends are still listed as guests at the hotel. In the meantime, report has emerged, claiming Chris is planning to meet his mother Joyce Hawkins, who resides in Virginia. Though so, it is not known whether Chris will head for Virginia or meet his mother at any other place.

Four Intense 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' Photos, Info on New 60 Seconds TV Spots

Four fresh "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" images have been unraveled by the 20th Century Fox via Latino Review, Coming Soon, Joblo and IGN. Presenting explosive moments in the action fantasy movie, two of the photos give out Taylor Kitsch's Gambit and Liev Schreiber's Sabretooth, and the remaining two display Troye Sivan's Logan and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine.

In addition to the photos, the 20th Century Fox have announced that they will premiere an exclusive, three-part reveal of this movie on FOX. The snippets, which will air over the course of three nights with one spot leading to the next, are said to form "a narrative revealing the origins of Wolverine, and the epic revolution that pits him and other legends of the X-Men universe against powerful forces determined to eliminate them."

Both females have denied reports claiming they were the persons who sent Chris text message, which has been believed as the trigger for the incident that prompted Chris to be investigated for alleged felony battery.

As for her part, Paris has been quoted as telling Radar Online, "That's ridiculous and an outright lie." She continued, "I was not 'all over him' as some magazine reported. I said, 'hello' and that was it. I love Rihanna and that never happened."

Jonas Brothers Unveil Wax Figures for Second Time, Reveal Their Monikers

Jonas Brothers hit up N.Y.C. on Thursday, February 12 to unveil a set of their wax figures at Madame Tussauds in Times Square. Joined by a number of their fans, the threesome took time to sign autographs and pose for pictures with them before heading inside the building for the unveiling of their replicas.

Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas reportedly have donated their outfits and accessories to be worn to their wax statues in a bid to make the images resembling to them. This isn't the first time that the brothers have been immortalized in wax. Back in August 2008, they showed up for the unveiling of their wax statues at Madame Tussauds in Washington D.C.

'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' Coming Out Early, Two Concept Cars Video Footage Found

The release date of "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" has been moved up. It is claimed in recent reports that Paramount Pictures announced they have pushed forward the release date of the "Transformers" sequel to two days earlier than its original schedule.

Hence, instead of coming up on Friday, June 26, the Michael Bay-directed film will be debuted in IMAX and conventional theaters across the U.S. on Wednesday, June 24. This new schedule will give the sci-fi action movie a head start from Nick Cassavetes' drama starring Cameron Diaz's "My Sister's Keeper".
