J. Holiday's New Song 'Magic Man' Outed

"Magic Man", the brand new track performed by J. Holiday has been found. Containing mid tempo sounds on the hook, it is confirmed as one of the new materials in his forthcoming sophomore studio effort "Round 2".

While "Round 2" is due for U.S. purchase on February 24, the album's first single "It's Yours" has been available for free stream on his official website since November 2008. "It's Yours" music video, which was directed by Jonathan Mannion, has also been premiered since January 2009.

Mariah Carey in New 'Push: Based on the Novel by Sapphire' Clip

A first look into "Push: Based on the Novel by Sapphire" has been put forward. In the one-minute video footage of the Lee Daniels-directed drama, it can be seen that Mariah Carey's Mrs. Weiss tries to dig up the truth behind the relationship between Gabourey Sidibe's Clareece 'Precious' Jones and her father.

Talking about her role in the movie during a press conference, Carey said, "Lee was encouraging us to go there. He was encouraging us to continue to go as deep as we could and to kind of just throw everything aside and really have an experience." She further added, "This should be required and the people should have to see this because people that don't know that this exists within the world, they need to be educated about it. And I think kids growing up, seeing something like this, this will change. This will help change and help take us to where we need to go."

Preview of 'Battlestar Galactica' 4.17: No Exit

"Battlestar Galactica" is getting closer to the end and a preview for next week's episode called "No Exit" is readily available. The official synopsis is not yet revealed but looks like the final cylon, Ellen Tigh, will take action of what she knows. The sixth episode before the show wraps up will air February 13.

Kate Vernon who plays Tigh recently told TV Guide that she returns to the show "to reunite with my husband in the good old-fashioned way." Tigh was revealed as the fifth and final cylon on the January 16 episode of the show. "Some of my friends who are die hard fans are indignant that I didn't tell them," Vernon said, "and they're thrilled that I am the Cylon."

Jennifer Hudson Up for 'Surprise Duet' at Pre-Grammys Party

Beside being signed up for the gala ceremony of this year's Grammy Awards, Jennifer Hudson has also been tapped for "a surprise duet" at a pre-Grammys gig honoring music mogul Clive Davis. Unfortunately, it still remains a top secret with whom she will be joining forces.

In addition to having Jennifer Hudson, the Saturday night, February-7 bash to be held at the Beverly Hilton will also feature live appearances from Whitney Houston, Leona Lewis and Kings of Leon. Rehearsal for the show has been conducted on Thursday, February 5.

A music video aimed to promote Charlie Wilson's single titled "There Goes My Baby" has been premiered. It follows Snoop Dogg dating a girl he loves and at the end of the video, he is seen tying the knot with her.

"There Goes My Baby" is a song produced by Babyface for Charlie Wilson's upcoming fourth major studio album "Uncle Charlie". The song has been released since October 2008, while the effort will arrive in U.S. stores on February 17.

Julianna Marguiles on Her Reunion With George Clooney in 'ER'

More light is shed for the big finale of "ER" that will bring back two of its major stars, George Clooney and Julianna Margulies. In an article published Friday, January 6, People magazine quoted Marguiles as saying that the chemistry she and Clooney had, still applies in the reunion filming.

"It's been nine years and it was like we'd never been apart," Margulies told her eyebrow stylist Ramy Gafni at his RamySpa in Manhattan. Gafni added, "She said, 'The chemistry was still there.' She said she loves him to pieces and that he's such a great guy."

Cate Blanchett has been deemed to be the most likely candidate to replace Sienna Miller in "Nottingham". In the latest news regarding the possible casting, The Telegraph suggested that Blanchett could be stepping closer to landing the role of Maid Marian alongside Russell Crowe, who has been set to play both Robin Hood and Sheriff of Nottingham.

The trade based their report on Mark Strong's comment at the 29th London Film Critics' Circle Awards on Wednesday, February 4. "I think Cate Blanchett is set to take the Maid Marian part," said the actor who has reportedly signed up to play Sir Guy of Gisbourne in the movie. "She is a wonderful actress and it would make it a much classier film if she was in it."

Asian-American Group OCA Demands 'Fuller Apology' From Miley Cyrus

Asian-American group OCA, which accuses Miley Cyrus to have offended the Asians as she's been photographed making slanty-eyed face, is blaming the teen star for not issuing "fuller apology" when she recently addressed the controversy. "It's not a real apology. We're not backing down," George Wu, Executive Director of the OCA is quoted as telling Celebuzz.

Wu further claims, "The picture is offensive and now this statement is inadequate," when referring to Miley's response which she wrote in a blog on her MileyWorld on Thursday, February 5. Miley herself has not yet commented on Wu's statement.

While attending the premiere of "Coraline", director Brad Bird made time to talk about his upcoming project, "1906", as well as Pixar's "Toy Story 3". Opening up to Latino Review on how far along is "1906", the 51-year-old filmmaker confessed that though he is still working on the script, the pre-production phase has begun.

"We're looking at places to shoot it. The script I'm still working. it's a really hard script to write," the two-time Academy Award recipient explained. "And mostly because there are so many interesting things going on in that place and that particular period of time that anytime you're going towards something, you're going away from 5 other cool things. So it's been really hard for me to write. but I think it's going to great. and we'll see IF they have the courage to make."

Characters of 'Melrose Place' Spin-Off Introduced

Things are shaping up for the "Melrose Place" remake. After a confirmation of "Smallville" producers, Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer, taking the job as the show runners, characters who will replicate the original ones are introduced via EW's Michael Ausiello.

There will be David Patterson, a Melrose royalty and the son of Jake, who occasionally dates PR with a sharp tongue, Ella Flynn. There's also Jonah Miller who is obsessed to become the next Kevin Smith and has a schoolteacher fiancee named Riley Richmond. A hippie recovering from alcohol addiction is found in Auggie Kirkpatrick while a med student struggling with financial situation is found in Lauren Bishop. Another one is Violet Foster who is described as a "sex kitten" from a small town.

Cindi Berger, the publicist for Jessica Simpson, steps forward right after Jessica's disastrous live performance, saying that the singer "had an off night." Cindy further adds, "She's a perfectionist, and wanted to start some of the songs over. She always wants to give her best performance to her fans."

Jessica Simpson has reportedly forgotten some of the "Come on Over" lyrics during her opening set for Rascal Flatts in Grand Rapids, Michigan. "My voice is weak tonight and I feel so vulnerable onstage," so she claimed as reportedly fighting back tears.

Krysten Ritter admitted that she received the good news of her joining "Gossip Girl" spin-off almost at the same time as everybody else. Speaking to Access Hollywood at the premiere of her latest feature movie, "Confessions of a Shopaholic", on Thursday the actress said that she just got the call about an hour before.

"I just got the lead in the 'Gossip Girl' spin-off, so that's pretty cool!" elated Krysten said. "It feels really overwhelming. I'm lucky. I feel like a million bucks!"

Rap star Taboo of music act Black Eyed Peas has exclusively confirmed to US Weekly that his wife Jaymie Dizon is pregnant with their first child. "We're very excited," so he said in a statement.

Jaymie, who is a fashion publicist, is expected to give birth to the baby she is carrying later this summer. As of press time, there has yet record on the sex of the upcoming baby.

New 'Watchmen' Video Journal Goes Behind Rorschach's Mask

The eleventh video journal of "Watchmen" has been found via Watchmen-Rorschach's FaceBook. Entitled "Rorschach's Mask", the webisode takes its focus on the central character of the movie and his perpetually shifting inkblot mask as described by director Zack Snyder, the character's depicter, Jackie Earle Haley, and some of the film's crew.

Bringing up behind-the-scene footage of the action fantasy film, the video opens with Snyder explaining about the background of Rorschach from his childhood to his discovery of the inkblot mask. Then, the focus turns to the mask as some of the film's crew, including visual effects supervisor John Des Jardin, detail on how they make the inkblot in the mask changes following the character's mood.

A music video in support of Jordyn Taylor's new single titled "Accessory", which serves as a theme song for upcoming movie "Confessions of a Shopaholic", has made its debut. Starting with a scene of several girls in their shopping sprees, it moves capturing Jordyn singing the song at an upmarket boutique.

Several footage from the comedy movie, which is due for U.S. release on February 13, has also been featured in the video. Isla Fisher's Rebecca Bloomwood is seen having a girl fight with another customer. A kissing scene between Rebecca and Luke Brandon, played by "The Jane Austen Book Club" star Hugh Dancy, is also included.

She continues, "I went through that with this lawyer and we sort of looked at each other at dinner and went, 'Yeah, no. This isn't going to work!' We sort of shook hands and ended the evening."

The buzz about Taylor Swift making a cameo on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" has been making rounds and CBS have just given a sneak peek to her character through several stills. The photos released are taken from the scenes that she shoots for the March 5 episode called "Turn, Turn, Turn".

Most of the photos show the the country singer sharing screen with George Eads who plays Nick Stokes. Taylor meanwhile, plays a girl named Haley Jones whose parents run a seedy Las Vegas motel where a series of murders happens. Over the course of a year, Haley goes through a series of changes that have tragic consequences.

"Some of his people did reach out to my people and it was business conversations back and forth possibly doing something with him," so he opened up.

Expected to attend the 51st annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 8, each of the Jonas Brothers will wear outfit that reflects their personalities, the band's stylist Michelle Tomaszewski tells Film.com. "It's a big day for them, probably the biggest of their career, so we really wanna make sure that everything is spot on," Michelle explains. "They're going to be performing as well, so we have two looks for the Grammys."

Not yet finalizing the brothers' entire outfits for the nearing prestigious award show, Michelle reveals Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas have different fashion styles from one another. "Even though they're brothers, they really like to stand out as being individuals. I think it's important for them to stand out, but they are brothers and they are a band so it still has to look like there's a common thread," Michelle reveals.

Filming of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' Starts in Two Weeks

Despite experiencing an early drawback following the on-set accident late January, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" will move ahead as scheduled. BBC News reported that the filming of the seventh movie installment of the "Harry Potter" series will be kicked off in two weeks.

"We have not begun filming yet and will not do so for another two weeks. This has always been the case," a spokeswoman for the production team of "Deathly Hallows" said of the production plan for the film. The rep further added, "Filming will commence mid-February and go through to spring 2009."

Video Premiere: U2's 'Get on Your Boots'

U2 have brought forth a music video for "Get on Your Boots", the first single off their twelfth studio album "No Line on the Horizon". Premiered on February 6, it features the band performing against a backdrop of complex graphic art designed by video director Alex Courtes.

The band's backing vocalist David "The Edge" Howell Evans said that the video is "based around the idea that men have f***ed things up so badly, politically, economically and socially." He added, "That it's really time we handed things over to women. The finished video is brilliant. (Alex) really nailed it."
