More Robots to Be Seen in 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' Next Trailer

February 03, 2009 09:29:33 GMT

While the Super Bowl spot of "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" has shown much of the bad-ass robots and the explosive scenes, director Michael Bay claims that it is just the beginning. Talking to Rope of Silicon, the filmmaker teases that more will be seen in the upcoming videos, saying "Just wait until they see the next one, we are going to show so many robots you won't believe how many robots there are!"

He further promises that the next trailers leading up to the film will give ideas of what the "Transformers" sequel is all about though not excluding the explosive footage. "A movie isn't an actual movie unless things are blowing up and I blow them up with the best of them," he gushes. "Sure, you can have emotional moments and we have those with Megan [Fox] and Shia [LaBeouf], but when it comes down to it no one goes to a movie for the actual story as much as they go to see robots and things explode and we got that!"

"I'll be looking at Michigan for our second-unit photography on the new 'Spider-Man' film," he said as quoted.
