there's no subtlety or room for the talented cast to add nuance to any line. People telling each other, "Shut up," seems to account for 10% of the dialogue, but no one ever does
the film is ingratiating enough, but its main value is to make us eager for another, more substantial Shelton movie long before another decade has slipped by
