Actor Jet Li Sued Over "Fearless"
March 28, 2006 11:03:11Jet Li is sued over his new film "Fearless", which a Chinese kung fu master Huo Yuanjia's relatives claimed to dishonor and misrepresent the life of Yuanjia.
Thus, Li has his name listed in the March 7 lawsuit, in addition to the film's producers and distributors, with the reason that he "not only played the lead role but participated in the making and production of the movie," the official Xinhua News Agency said Sunday, citing lawyer Yang Zhonghai.

"Fearless" to Challenge U.S Market
February 03, 2006 12:02:45After its success to score box-office last weekend around Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, "Fearless" will try its strength in U.S as Focus Features through its Rogue Pictures genre division has purchased domestic rights to this Chinese martial arts film, so the company has announced Wednesday.
Starred by Jet Li and helmed by Ronny Yu who previously has directed "Freddy vs Jason", the picture is tentatively scheduled for theatrical release later this year.
