Train Release 'Hey, Soul Sister' Music Video
October 07, 2009 01:10:27Train have made public a music video in companion to their new single "Hey, Soul Sister" which tells about about "a woman who's got all the right moves." The video is directed by Matthew Stawski and comes out on VH1 on October 6.
"Soul Sister" is taken from Train's forthcoming studio album "Save Me San Francisco". The band's singer Pat Monahan told Billboard, "There's super catchy riffs and melodies in it, which I think are way more important that any production trick or great-sounding vocal production. It's kind of us going backward so we can go forward."
Leelee Sobieski Boards Night Train
August 06, 2007 12:08:21Appears to prefer staying longer in thriller genre following her last year's vehicle "The Wicker Man", Leelee Sobieski has taken a starring role in an indie feature entitled "Night Train" to join Danny Glover and Steve Zahn in the cast lineup, Variety has reported.
Story revolves around three strangers who compete for a mysterious object on a train on Christmas Eve. Sobieski is learned to play a seemingly sedate med student under the direction of Brian King, who also penned the screenplay.

Four well-known names in directing field this time are carrying out the same banner for sure. Variety has brought in news reporting that Chuck Russell, Deepa Mehta, Joel Schumacher, and Peter Cattaneo have all been picked up by Baldwin Entertainment Group to each work on a film for the studio.
Russell will take helming duties on "Mandrake", an action adventure based on the Hearts comic while Mehta is set to direct an eco drama simply entitled "Luna." Schumacher, in the meantime, will make action flick "1:30 Train" with Cattaneo directing a rom-com movie called "Indiscretion."
Music Performers Landed Their Feet on Album Charts
February 10, 2006 10:02:59Barry Manilow has landed his feet on the album charts, having his new set "The Greatest Songs of the Fifties" debuts at No 1 on the Billboard 200 selling 156,000 copies for the week ended Sunday Feb 5th, 2006. Sitting on the runner up position is Mary J. Blige's "The Breakthrough," while Andrea Bocelli's "Amore" is at 3rd sold 113,000 copies.
Debut at 4th position is "Unpredictable" by Jamie Foxx, which slips one from last week's position. Meanwhile, R&B singer Heather Headley has her album "In My Mind" selling 95,000 copies to open at number five. Last week's chart topper, Il Divo's "Ancora" slips to No. 6 with 93,000 copies, followed behind by Eminem's "Curtain Call" at No. 7 and Carrie Underwood's "Some Hearts" at No. 8. James Blunt's "Back to Bedlam" and Train's "For Me, It's You" both are the 9th and 10th in a row.
