The former professional soccer player claims that he didn't expect the members of the girl group to perform their songs at the former Posh Spice's 50th birthday party.

AceShowbiz - David Beckham has talked about Spice Girls reunion at a party, which was held to celebrate the 50th birthday of Victoria Beckham, previously known as Victoria Adams in a new interview. "How long had it been since they sang together?" Jimmy Kimmel asked Beckham on his show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

"It's actually been like 12 years since they did the Olympics in the U.K., but over 15 years since they were actually on the stage together," Beckham replied.

David Beckham described his admiration for his wife and her bandmates, saying, "I tend to not tell my wife that because I tend to tell her that I fancied her, but she was a Spice Girl! I love that about her."

During Victoria Beckham's star-studded 50th birthday celebration at Oswald's in London, the five Spice Girls members came together for a mini reunion. Captured on film by her husband David Beckham, the former soccer star shared the video on Instagram, showing the group singing "Stop" in a heartfelt performance.

Previously, the Spice Girls had a reunion tour in 2019, but Beckham did not participate. However, Melanie Brown recently hinted at a possible future project, saying, "us five are working on something that is going to be announced soon."

As the Spice Girls marked their 30th anniversary earlier this year, Britain's Royal Mail released commemorative postage stamps in their honor. Victoria Beckham expressed her excitement for the future, stating, "I'm excited about the future. The thing with aging is that it is what it is ... generally I feel good about things. I have better opportunities now than I did when I was younger."
