AceShowbiz - "The Voice" season 25 announced the results of Top 12 performances in the Tuesday, May 7 episode. After performing in front of the coaches in the previous episode, the singers found out their fate. Eight of them would be sent to Live Semi-Finals while the remaining four artists sang live for the Instant Save, though only one would advance.

Coach Reba McEntire kicked off the night with a performance of her new song "I Can't". Later, host Carson Daly brought the Top 12 to the stage as he revealed the names of the first artists who made it to the Semi-Finals.

The first singers to advance to the next round were Asher HaVon from Team Reba, Maddi Jane from Team Chance The Rapper, and Nathan Chester from Team John Legend. Carson then named Madison Curbelo from Team Dan + Shay and Josh Sanders from Team Reba as the next singers joining other Semi-Finalists.

Following up, John took the stage to offer the audience a 20th anniversary performance of "Ordinary People". Carson later announced the final three artists to join the Top 9. They were Bryan Olesen from Team John, Serenity Arce from Team Chance, and Karen Waldrup from Team Dan + Shay. That meant Team Reba's L. Rodgers, Team Chance's Nadege, Team Dan + Shay's Tae Lewis and Team Legend's Zoe Levert were up for Instant Save.

For the final chance to stay in the competition, L. Rodgers took the stage to sing "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me". Nadege opted for "Smooth Operator", while Zoe Levert hoped to impress with a performance of "Slow Burn". Tae Lewis sang "The Church on Cumberland Road".

After the live vote on "The Voice" app and online ended, Carson revealed the last singer joining the Top 9 in the upcoming Live Semi-Finals was Tae Lewis!
