The country singer, who has hit songs including 'Whiskey Glasses', kicks off his three-night headlining run at Nissan Stadium by bringing a stadium-sized show to his hometown fans.

AceShowbiz - On Thursday night, May 2, Morgan Wallen drew nearly 70,000 fans to the first of his three sold-out concerts at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, following in the footsteps of pop queen Taylor Swift.

The stadium headliner from Sneedville, Tennessee, showcased his entertainer of the year-worthy credentials with a cascade of hits, including "Ain't That Some", "One Thing at a Time", "7 Summers" and the 19-week Hot Country Songs chart leader "You Proof".

Wallen's high-energy performance featured collaborations with Nate Smith, Lauren Watkins, Bailey Zimmerman, DeAndre Hopkins, and ERNEST. He reminisced about his journey from playing bars to filling stadiums, sharing his humble beginnings and the unwavering support of his family.

The crowd glowed with wristbands in red, blue and orange hues, coordinating with the vibrant stage lights that illuminated the massive screen wrapping around the stage, providing a theater-style view for all.

Despite the massive scale, Wallen remained connected to his audience, running the length of the catwalk and pausing the show to sign posters and take photos with fans.

Metro Nashville police advised attendees to arrive early due to an expected influx of visitors, as the Morgan Wallen concert coincided with the Nashville Predators playoff game and other events downtown, including the Portugal. The Man concert at the Ryman Auditorium and the Nashville Sounds game at First Horizon Park.

Wallen concluded his show with "More Than My Hometown" and "Whiskey Glasses", leaving the fans chanting his name. He returned for an encore, performing "Thinkin' Bout Me", "Last Night" and his debut single, "The Way I Talk".

As the night ended, Wallen took time to interact with fans, signing autographs and shaking hands, solidifying his status as a global artist and a genuine superstar.
