AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson and Meghan Trainor have been showered with praise for their talents. After entertaining fans with a duet performance, the "My Life Would Suck Without You" hitmaker and the "Lips Are Movin" songstress were urged to go on tour together.
In the Monday, April 29 episode of "The Kelly Clarkson Show", the host of the TV program joined her fellow singer onstage to deliver "All About That Bass", which was released by the latter back in 2014. While standing next to each other, the two artists belted out the track with the help of several band members and a backup singer.
Meghan sang, "Yeah, it's pretty clear, I ain't no size two/ But I can shake it, shake it, like I'm supposed to do/ 'Cause I got that boom boom that all the boys chase/ And all the right junk in all the right places/ I see the magazines (ah-ha) workin' that Photoshop (ah-ha)/ We know that s**t ain't real/ Come on now, make it stop/ If you got beauty beauty (ah-ha), put your hands up/ 'Cause every inch of you is perfect/ From the bottom to the top."
Together, Meghan and Kelly rhymed, "Yeah, my mama she told me don't worry about your size/ She says, boys like a little more booty to hold at night/ (That booty, booty, uh, that booty, booty)/ And no I won't be no stick-figure, silicone Barbie doll/ So, if that's what's you're into/ Then go ahead and move along."
Kelly continued, "I'm bringing booty back/ Go ahead and tell them skinny b***hes that/ No, I'm just playing I know y'all think you're fat/ But I'm here to tell you/ Every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top."
Following their duet performance, Kelly and Meghan received positive responses from social media users. One in particular gushed, "Incredible duet. They have a mutual appreciation society between the two of them going on. So awesome. Why not hit the road together?" Similarly, another exclaimed, "My smile got wider and wider as I watched this. You two need to tour together!!!!!"
Meanwhile, others demanded the duet version of the song to be released. One of them asked, "Ok we need this version on iTunes or Spotify please!" In the meantime, one user requested a joint record, "We need a Kelly and Meghan album."
