AceShowbiz - Kanye West has finally revealed the release date for his and Ty Dolla $ign's "Vultures 2". Having postponed the project several times, the "Donda" artist confirmed that he will unleash the project next month.
When speaking to Justin LaBoy on his "The Download" podcast, which dropped on Monday, April 22, the 46-year-old the long-awaited album will arrive on May 3. This lines up with the date he previously leaked to a Baby Keem fan page in March when he mistakenly thought the account was Keem's actual profile.
Serving as the follow-up to "Vultures 1", the set was supposed to be released on March 8, with the third installment set to drop on April 5. It remains to be seen when the latter will now drop.
Ye and Ty dropped "Vultures 1" on February 10 and days later, it debuted on the Billboard 200 album chart dated February 24 after earning 148,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending February 15, according to Luminate. The achievement gave Ty his first leader.
Billboard reported that the "Vultures 1" album's SEA units comprised 129,000 or equaling 167.78 million on-demand official streams of all 16 songs in the album. Meanwhile, album sales comprised 18,000 and TEA units comprised 1,000.
Music aside, Kanye is reportedly set to venture into adult entertainment by launching an entire Yeezy Porn studio. An associate of Ye told TMZ in a report published on Tuesday, April 23 that the hip-hop star has been "kicking around" the idea of launching a porn studio for a while now. The planned studio allegedly will be part of a broader adult entertainment division at the parent Yeezy company.
The insider added that Ye seems to be determined with his plan. It was also noted that the father of four and his team are in advanced talks to make the plan happen.
