Karen Dalton: In My Own Time Trailer

In the early days of rock 'n' roll, before the advent of slickly produced videos and overblown special effects, music was a more personal and intimate affair. In this vein, the video for "Karen Dalton: In My Time" (1967) captures the late British blues and soul mama with an almost casual candor. The black-and-white video, released in conjunction with the movie of the same name, features Dalton going through the rehearsal process for what would prove to be one of her final live shows.
