Based on the bestselling trilogy by Leigh Bardugo, the show follows Alina Starkov, a young orphan who discovers she has the power to summon light. As the Grisha Army tries to exploit her abilities, Alina must embark on a dangerous journey to learn how to control her powers and save her world from the Shadow Fold, a deadly realm of darkness. The teaser gives fans a glimpse of Alina's harrowing journey, as well as the stunning world of Ravka, the setting of the series.
