In this first look promo for Debris, a new series from NBC, the wreckage of an alien spacecraft has scattered pieces of technology throughout the world. A team of scientists and engineers must work together to study the debris and prevent it from falling into the wrong hands. The team is led by Bryan Beneventi (played by Jonathan Tucker), a brilliant engineer who is haunted by the loss of his wife and child. He is joined by Finola Jones (played by Riann Steele), a brilliant astrophysicist who is determined to find out the truth about the aliens. Together, they will face danger and adventure as they try to understand the debris and its implications for the future of humanity.
