The Blacklist is an American crime drama television series that premiered on NBC on September 23, 2013. The show follows Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader), a former high-profile government agent turned high-profile criminal, who surrenders to the FBI with an offer to help them catch a terrorist known as Berlin, who has been targeting the FBI. In return, Reddington demands immunity from prosecution and the ability to work with Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone), a rookie FBI profiler.
