The Rookie is an American police procedural television series that follows John Nolan, a man in his forties who becomes the oldest rookie in the Los Angeles Police Department. The series premiered on October 16, 2018, on ABC. On May 14, 2021, the series was renewed for a fourth season, which premiered on September 25, 2021. The fifteenth episode of the second season, titled "The Hunt," aired on March 9, 2020. A preview for the episode, which can be viewed on YouTube, shows Nolan and his fellow officers searching for a serial killer who is targeting police officers.
