"Fantasy Island" is an upcoming American supernatural horror film directed by Jeff Wadlow and written by Wadlow, Jillian Jacobs, and Chris Roach. The film is a remake of the 1977 television series of the same name. It stars Michael Peña, Maggie Q, Lucy Hale, Austin Stowell, and Jimmy O. Yang. The film follows a group of strangers who are invited to a mysterious island where their fantasies become reality. However, they soon realize that their dreams come at a deadly price. The film is scheduled to be released on August 14, 2020.
