The tenth season of "Hawaii Five-0" premiered on CBS on September 29, 2019. The third episode of the season, titled "Ua Malo'o Ka Wai (The Water is Dry)", aired on October 18, 2019. It was written by David Wolkove and directed by Bryan Spicer. In the episode, the Five-0 team investigates the disappearance of a teenage girl, who is later found to be the victim of a sex trafficking ring. The team must race against time to rescue the girl and bring the traffickers to justice. In addition to the main storyline, the episode also featured the return of fan favorite character Kono Kalakaua, who had been absent from the show since the end of the seventh season.
