**Spider-Man: Far From Home** is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The film is a sequel to 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming and the 23rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Jon Watts and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Tom Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Tony Revolori. In the film, Peter Parker and his friends go on a summer vacation to Europe, where they encounter the Elementals.
