The Invisible Life is a Brazilian drama film directed by Karim Aïnouz. It was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Martha Batalha. The film tells the story of two sisters, Eurídice and Guida, who are separated in childhood and spend the rest of their lives trying to find each other. The film stars Carol Duarte, Julia Stockler, and Gregório Duvivier. The film was released in Brazil on September 19, 2019.
