In the Dark 1.04 (Preview) is the fourth episode of the first season of the American crime drama television series In the Dark. The episode was written by Alexandra Cunningham and directed by Gary Fleder. It aired on The CW on April 4, 2019. In the episode, Murphy investigates the murder of Jess Damon and discovers that he was killed by Dean Riley, a corrupt police officer. Murphy also learns that Dean is responsible for the death of her friend, Tyson.
