In this exclusive preview of Siren's upcoming episode, "2.08," Ryn reunites with her mother, Helen. The two are overjoyed to see each other, but their reunion is short-lived. Helen reveals that she is dying, and she wants Ryn to take her place as the leader of the pac. Ryn is reluctant at first, but she eventually agrees. Meanwhile, Ben and Maddie investigate the disappearance of a local fisherman. They soon discover that the fisherman was killed by a mermaid, and they realize that they are not the only ones who are aware of the mermaids' existence.
