Roswell, New Mexico is a 2019 American science fiction television series developed by Carina Adly MacKenzie for The CW. The series follows Liz Ortecho, a nurse who returns to her hometown of Roswell, New Mexico after the death of her sister. While on a date with her old friend Max Evans, Liz is injured in a car accident and realizes that Max is an alien. The series premiered on The CW on January 15, 2019, and has been renewed for a second season. In the video preview, Liz and Max are investigating a strange object that they found in the desert. The object is emitting a strange energy, and Liz begins to feel strange after touching it. Max tries to help Liz, but he is also affected by the object's energy.
