Roswell, New Mexico is an American science fiction drama television series based on the Roswell High book series by Melinda Metz. The series follows Liz Ortecho, a biomedical researcher who returns to her hometown of Roswell, New Mexico, after the death of her sister. Liz soon learns that her sister was killed by aliens and that her high school crush, Max Evans, is actually an alien. The series follows Liz and Max as they investigate the truth behind Liz's sister's death and the existence of aliens in Roswell.
