**Robin Hood (2018)** is an upcoming historical action film directed by Otto Bathurst and starring Taron Egerton in the title role, alongside Jamie Foxx, Ben Mendelsohn, Eve Hewson, and Jamie Dornan. The film is a retelling of the classic Robin Hood legend, and follows Robin of Loxley as he returns home from the Crusades to find his home ravaged by corruption and tyranny. Robin vows to take up arms against the Sheriff of Nottingham and fight for the people of England.
