The Last Man on Earth is an American post-apocalyptic comedy-drama television series created by Will Forte that aired on Fox from March 1, 2015, to May 6, 2018. The series follows Phil Miller (Forte), a man who believes he is the last human on Earth after a virus kills everyone else. He is later joined by other survivors, including Carol Pilbasian (Kristen Schaal), Todd Bridges (Mel Rodriguez), and Erica Dundee (January Jones). In the penultimate episode of the fourth season, "30 Years of Science Down the Drain", the group discovers that they are not the last humans on Earth, and that there is a larger group of survivors living in Tucson, Arizona. In the preview for the season finale, "You're the Best", the group sets out to find the other survivors.
