The Goldbergs is an American sitcom television series that premiered on ABC on September 24, 2013. The series is set in the 1980s and follows the Goldberg family, a working-class Jewish family living in the Philadelphia suburb of Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. The show is based on the real-life childhood of series creator Adam F. Goldberg. The Goldbergs has been nominated for numerous awards, including three Golden Globe Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards.
