**Whisky Galore! (Trailer)**
Whisky Galore! is a 1949 British comedy film directed by Alexander Mackendrick. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Compton Mackenzie and tells the story of the inhabitants of the Scottish island of Todday who attempt to salvage a cargo of whisky from a ship that has run aground. The film stars Basil Radford, Joan Greenwood, Gordon Jackson, and Duncan Macrae.
