Based on the video game series of the same name by Insomniac Games, it is produced by Blockade Entertainment, Rainmaker Entertainment, and Ratchet & Clank Movie Productions, and distributed by Focus Features. The film stars James Arnold Taylor, David Kaye, Jim Ward, and Armin Shimerman. In the film, Ratchet and Clank team up to stop the evil Chairman Drek from destroying their home planet of Veldin.
