**Barbershop: The Next Cut** is a 2016 American comedy-drama film directed by Malcolm D. Lee and written by Kenya Barris and Tracy Oliver. The film, which is a sequel to the 2002 film Barbershop and the 2004 film Barbershop 2: Back in Business, stars Ice Cube, Cedric the Entertainer, Anthony Anderson, Eve, Regina Hall, and Nicki Minaj. The film follows Calvin Palmer (Cube) and his employees as they try to save their struggling barbershop from gentrification.
