The Night Before is an upcoming American Christmas comedy film directed by Jonathan Levine and written by Levine, Kyle Hunter, Ariel Shaffir and Evan Goldberg. The film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, Anthony Mackie, Lizzy Caplan, Jillian Bell, and Mindy Kaling. The film follows three friends who have been celebrating Christmas Eve together since they were children, and the events that transpire when they decide to attend the Nutcracker Ball, a massive Christmas Eve party. The film is scheduled to be released on November 20, 2015.
