The Knick 2.02 is the second episode of the second season of the Cinemax original series The Knick. The episode was directed by Steven Soderbergh and written by Jack Amiel and Michael Begler. It premiered on October 16, 2015. In the episode, Dr. John Thackery (Clive Owen) continues to struggle with his drug addiction, while Dr. Algernon Edwards (André Holland) tries to help a young patient who is suffering from a rare disease. Meanwhile, Dr. Cornelia Robertson (Juliet Rylance) is forced to confront her own mortality when she is diagnosed with a tumor.
