The Final Girls is a 2015 American slasher comedy film directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and written by M. A. Fortin and Joshua John Miller. The film stars Taissa Farmiga, Malin Åkerman, Adam DeVine, Thomas Middleditch, Alia Shawkat, and Nina Dobrev. The film follows Max Cartwright (Farmiga), a high school student who is obsessed with the 1980s horror film Camp Bloodbath. When Max and her friends are transported into the film, they must fight to survive the night and escape the clutches of the killer Billy Murphy (Åkerman).
