Kandi, now a successful TV actress in Hollywood, makes a reappearance and tells Alan she wants to date him again, but he turns her down citing his commitment to Lindsay. When Kandi drunkenly calls him sounding upset and asking to see him, he goes over to her hotel and she tries to seduce him, but he turns her down. Lindsay gets angry when compromising pictures of Alan and Kandi end up on the internet the next day. When Kandi shows up at Lindsay's house to explain that nothing happened between her and Alan, the two women end up sleeping together. Meanwhile, Walden tries to make Berta's birthday special by giving her a Camaro and Berta expresses her gratitude.
