When Christy and Bonnie are shocked to learn that Marjorie has been diagnosed with breast cancer, and they offer to support her by accompanying her to her chemotherapy appointments. As Christy spends more time with Marjorie, she learns that Marjorie's relationship with her son is strained at best, and that she lives with an excessive amount of cats. Marjorie's struggles remind Christy that she needs to make the best of every situation and to work on keeping her relationships with her children loving and positive.
