As Nick collapses on the ground, still crying out in pain, Hank and Trubel spring into action. Hank explains that it's Nick's mom in the box and asks Trubel what she saw the last time she was at the house. Trubel says she was followed by a Hundjager; Hank realizes there must be more nearby and that this is a trap. Trubel and Hank help Nick off of the floor and sneak out through the back just as Rispoli sends a group of Verrat to kill them. When they're at a safe distance, Nick tries to go back to avenge his mother, but Trubel and Hank convince him they need to go after who's really behind her death - the Royals. At Nick's request, Trubel brings him and Hank to the lot where she killed the Hundjager. Wu meets them there and gets quickly caught up to speed. Nick asks Trubel to grab the head, which she deposits in Wu's trunk. When Hank asks if Nick wants to call it in, he says, "No, we're doing this my way."

Nick, Hank and Trubel go to Bud's to talk to Adalind, who tells them about Prince Kenneth, Rispoli and where they're staying. Nick is also forced to break the news that the Royals have Diana. While Nick, Hank and Adalind formulate a plan to trap the Royals, Trubel and Bud go to Monroe and Rosalee's to bring them to safety. Meanwhile, Juliette finally gets to meet King Frederick, who promises her a whole new life in Vienna for helping get Diana back. Rispoli calls Kenneth then to tell him about Nick getting away, but the King has Kenneth put the phone on speaker. Kenneth orders Rispoli to meet him at the hotel so they can regroup, but unfortunately for Kenneth, Adalind beats him there first. She places the decapitated Hundjager's head in a closet - and screams.

When Nick and Hank arrive at the hotel, now a crime scene, they're able to interview the hotel's manager and get the names and vehicle information of all of the Royals staying in the suite. An arrest warrant is issued for Kenneth and Rispoli, and APBs are put on all of their cars. At the precinct, Nick makes a startling realization while researching Kenneth. Remembering his messed-up bed sheets and the way the computer had been moved, he realizes someone had to have contacted his mom in order to lure her out of hiding. And the only other person his mom would've trusted? Juliette. At the same time, the Captain gets briefed about leads in the Ripper case. The fourth victim, who Nick, Hank and Wu were able to rescue, spoke to police and identified her attacker as tall, slender, well dressed - and British. Maybe Renard won't be found out after all?

When Kenneth arrives at the hotel, he is immediately surrounded and handcuffed by several police officers. Rispoli sees it all unfold as he drives past and heads to the Royals' compound, where he tells the King what's happened. King Frederick, rather unapologetically, tells Rispoli that the Grimm can have Kenneth and that it's time for them to leave. Instead of the precinct, Kenneth is brought to an abandoned warehouse outside Portland by Wu. There, he comes face to face with Nick. Nick at first tries to question Kenneth, but when he's only met with taunts about his mother and Juliette, he turns to a more physical method of persuasion. As Wu and Hank listen along outside, Nick and Kenneth trade blows. In the end, Kenneth is no match for a vengeful Nick, who slides a blade from one of his Grimm weapons into Kenneth's throat and proclaims, "For my mother." When Nick comes back outside, he tells Wu to find Juliette's location by triangulating her cell signal; she's with the Royals and they're going after her.

Back at Bud's, Monroe, Rosalee and Adalind reveal to Trubel what's become of Juliette. When Nick and Hank arrive, they add the fact that Juliette is working with the Royals. Wu soon calls with Juliette's location. He's ready to meet the gang, but Nick tells him to stay back because he doesn't want him to get hurt. Monroe offers to come along while Rosalee agrees to stay behind to watch over Bud and Adalind. At the Spice Shop, Nick, Hank and Trubel arm themselves with what's left from the trailer. Trubel asks Nick what they should do if they find Juliette. "Kill her," he says.

On the drive to the Royals' compound, Trubel spots a car following them. Nick pulls off the road to see if the car will stop or keep going. When it comes to a halt, Nick, Hank, Monroe and Trubel hide in the bushes, ready to attack whoever gets out. Thankfully, it's Wu and he brought his shotgun with him. He explains to Nick that he couldn't stay behind after what the Royals did to his mom, and Nick admits he's happy to see him. The Grimm gang leaves the cars where they are and makes their way to the house on foot. Inside, King Frederick is spending quality time with his granddaughter, building a castle out of blocks. But Diana is not impressed and knocks the castle over with her hand. Using her powers, she builds a larger castle without moving an inch, much to the King's delight. An attendant alerts the King that the helicopter will be arriving in minutes. Outside, Nick, Hank, Monroe, Trubel and Wu watch it fly over and realize they're running out of time.

After taking out the Verrat guarding the house, Nick runs inside, only to find it empty. He makes his way upstairs while Hank enters through the front door, crossbow raised. A Hundjäger pops out and comes at Hank, but he's no match for Monroe, who woges and tackles the Royal bodyguard. While Monroe fights the Hundjäger, Hank follows Nick upstairs and Wu heads downstairs, where he runs into another Hundjäger. Wu fumbles with the three-pronged blade he got from Hank and instead shoots the Hundjager with his shotgun. It proves just as effective as any Grimm weapon. Rispoli, hearing the gunshot, leaves the King, Juliette and Diana to go back into the house. From upstairs, Nick watches as the three of them make their way to the helicopter. When Rispoli re-enters the house, he takes aim at Monroe and begins shooting. Trubel runs past and diverts Rispoli's attention, making him follow her upstairs. When Rispoli reaches the top of the stairs, he gets ambushed by Hank, who manages to maneuver him over to the railing and throws him over it. As Rispoli lies bleeding out on the ground, Nick makes it to the backyard. But he's too late; the helicopter is already in the air.

Defeated, Nick, Hank, Monroe, Trubel and Wu return to Bud's and inform Adalind, Bud and Rosalee that Juliette and the Royals got away with Diana. Monroe and Rosalee return home while Nick tells Adalind to stay with Bud a little while longer. Hank takes over from there and sends Nick home while he gets the Captain up to speed. At the precinct, Hank tells Renard that Kenneth is dead and that the Royals have Diana. Renard says he'll take care of the bodies at the Royals' compound but the Ripper murders are still weighing heavily on him. Hank wonders aloud what the chances of finding a suspect of a similar height to Renard with a British accent are. Before anyone can say "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Hank shows Renard to Kenneth's corpse and the Captain places a scalpel on his person.

On the helicopter, King Frederick is cooing over Diana when her eyes glow purple and she points towards the window. When the King turns around to see what she's looking at, he watches his reflection turn into a skull. Suddenly, the helicopter's co-pilot climbs into the back and throws the King out of the side door. When he sits back down and removes his helmet, we lay eyes on... Meisner!

Nick enters his house and is stopped in his tracks by the sight of his mother's head again. After a few quiet moments, he hears something behind him and turns around to find Juliette. She says she didn't know Kenneth was going to do that. Enraged, Nick lunges at Juliette and pushes her up against a wall, tightening his hands around her throat. As Juliette struggles for air, she tells Nick to do it, to kill her. But even after everything that's happened, Nick can't bring himself to do it. His mercy is not appreciated by Juliette, who returns the favor by woging and sending Nick flying across the house. Nick says he's done fighting, but Juliette's not. She says, "Goodbye, Nick," before preparing to strike one last below. A voice behind her says, "Goodbye, Juliette," and before she can realize what's happening, Trubel fires two darts into Juliette's chest. Nick catches Juliette as she falls to the ground and holds her close as she dies in his arms.

Outside, a pair of SUVs pulls up and several men dressed in black rush toward Nick's house. Agent Chavez's back - and she's not leaving without Trubel.
