The Bachelor Episode 17.06 Episode 1706

Snow Day: Sean and the ladies head off to Lake Louise in Canada's beautiful Banff National Park. Catherine scores the first one-on-one date. She stands alone in the middle of a frozen land until a giant snow bus arrives with Sean in the driver's seat. They head off to play on a glacier in Jasper National Park where they have lots of fun in the snow. Sean feels that Catherine has definitely passed the blizzard test.

Ice Castles: The nighttime portion of Catherine's date begins with a horse-drawn carriage ride and ends in an ice castle. There's a sofa and burning fire inside. Catherine talks about a traumatic incident when she lost a friend at the age of 12. It made her realize that you need to cherish each day. Sean knows that he wants to cherish even more days with this special lady which is why he gives Catherine a rose.

Go Jump in a Lake:AshLee, Daniella, Lesley, Lindsay, Sarah, Selma and Tierra are picked for the group date. They all take a canoe ride across the lake with Lesley jumping in Sean's boat right away. They then take the Lake Louise Polar Bear Plunge into the icy water! Only Selma opts to not take the plunge. AshLee also has reservations, but she still jumps. Everyone is freezing, but also exhilarated!

Warm Thoughts: The plunge takes a serious toll on Tierra, who has trouble breathing. Sean feels helpless as she seems unresponsive. Tierra is rushed inside to get her body temperature up. Catherine and Desiree notice that she does not look good. They wonder about the other girls, who are still riding high after their icy adventure. Some of them think Tierra is faking. Sean warms up Tierra by cuddling up to her in her bed.

Oh, the Drama: The girls are jazzed to learn that Tierra won't be part of the rest of the group date. They look forward to a night without drama until... Dum, Dum, Dum! Tierra is in the house! Sean immediately whisks her away for some one-on-one time. The other ladies feel they have a “tierra-ist” on their hands. Lindsay steals him away so they can spend their alone time kissing. But at the end of the night, Lesley gets the rose.

No Chance for Romance: After Sarah opens up about her family, Sean feels the need to come clean with her. He feels like the romance isn't there. Sean feels she's one of the most incredible girls he's ever met, but it just didn't click between them. Sarah is blindsided. She says a tearful goodbye to the other ladies. Sean then escorts her out to the limo where more tears flow as Sarah rides away.

Sean and Desiree Sitting in a Tree: Desiree scores the second one-on-one date. She and Sean go up Tunnel Mountain, and then they go down. They rappel down a 400-foot cliff to enjoy a picnic lunch, a nice chat and several kisses. They also climb a tree. Sean and Desiree sitting in a tree... K-I-S-S-I-N-G!

Teepee Time: Sean and Desiree continue their smooch-fest in a teepee come nighttime. This feels familiar to Des, as she once lived in a tent. Her family never had much money. She feels that's why she is so humble. The love her parents had for each other and her gave them riches money couldn't buy. Sean wants Desiree to know how special he thinks she is, so he presents her with a rose and, of course, a kiss.

Lots of Kissing: Selma has not yet kissed Sean because of her culture. Kissing someone on national TV is a huge shame to her family. Selma didn't jump in a lake, but she does jump into a kiss. Sean also kisses Lindsay even though they said they weren't going to do so. AshLee lets Sean blindfold her even though it makes her uncomfortable. It's to prove that she trusts him. Sean repays that trust with a kiss.

The Rose Ceremony: Sara has already gone home and Catherine, Lesley and Desiree are safe with a rose from their earlier dates. Here is the list of all the ladies who score a rose from Sean:
