Liz needs a date for Floyd's wedding, so she decides to look through her sexual rolodex to find the perfect candidate. This reminds Jenna of that Cinemax soft-core movie she starred in, "Emmanuelle Goes to Dinosaur Land." Liz starts her search with her ex, Drew. Liz is shocked to see Drew now has hooks for hands.
Jack has a close call when Nancy and Avery almost run into each other. As Avery leaves town to deal with that time of the month, Nancy surprises Jack with a weekend visit. Because Jack promised to think only about Avery while she's gone, he plans a very unromantic weekend with Nancy that includes watching a documentary about female circumcision, and dining at an all-you-can-eat Indian buffet.
Tracy still needs to find a movie that will help him earn an Oscar and his EGOT necklace. Dotcom suggests a script with a lead character that grew up in the projects. Tracy doesn't want to take the part because he feels he can't relate to the film.
After realizing Drew's still too dumb to date, Liz pays Dennis a visit. She finds him trying to "balloon boy" an innocent kid in the park for money. Liz can't believe she actually dated a loser like Dennis and leaves. Later on, at Cerie's rehearsal dinner, Liz runs into Cerie's father's mistress' cousin - it's Wesley!
Jack's unromantic night out with Nancy ends with the two making love. The morning after, Jack tries to play off their night of passion as casual, but begins to feel guilty when Nancy confesses that Jack is only the second lover she's ever had.
Begging Liz not to put on her judgmental face, Jack confesses to sleeping with Nancy. Liz doesn't have time to deal with Jack because she's busy getting ready for Floyd's wedding with the only date she could find, Wesley.
Tracy insists on playing the title character in the third installment of the Garfield movies, "Feline Groovy." On the first day of filming, all of Tracy's repressed memories of growing up in the projects come back to haunt him. Tracy leaves the movie set, vowing he's on a mission to earn an Oscar.
At Floyd's wedding, Liz finds herself getting more and more annoyed with Wesley. She prepares for her reading at the podium. While waiting, she meets a very handsome single lawyer, Mike. After Mike reveals all his sex fetishes, Liz rushes back to Wesley and proposes marriage.
Jack brings Nancy to Floyd's wedding. Knowing he can't lie in church, Jack tells Nancy about Avery. Nancy tries to leave, but Jack reminds her that she can't leave until the mass is over. Jack texts Liz, asking her to delay her reading so he can try to win Nancy back.
