Liz was shocked to hear she would have to fire ten percent of her staff. Jack put her in charge of selecting who would be fired from the show. Later on, she had the opportunity to meet Eddie, Jack's brother. When Jack saw Eddie he immediately tackled him. When they were done fighting, Eddie broke the news to Jack that their father had passed away.

Tracy's lawyer advised him to start going to church to better his image. Kenneth offered to take Tracy to his church, which met on Wednesdays at the basement of a Cuban restaurant. Tracy ended up getting so frightened during the sermon he ran out screaming.

Liz was aware that her entire staff started being extra-friendly to her and she knew why; they were all worried about their jobs. She was beginning to appreciate all the extra attention she was getting from her staff.

Jack found his brother staying at the YMCA and Eddie admitted he was completely broke. Eddie told Jack that out of all things, he wanted to rekindle a relationship with his brother. Jack and Eddie went on a trip down memory lane and decided to re-establish their companionship.

Jack showed Eddie around and told his brother about his job. Jack wanted to bring all the Donaghy kids together again stating that they were Irish Catholic and a very forgiving group. Later on, Eddie convinced Tracy to be Irish Catholic and Tracy agreed.

Liz decided to fire her crush's girlfriend, the other Liz, who worked in accounting. Pete warned her that she couldn't fire somebody based on who they were dating, but she ignored him. She went to her office where she found the other Liz's co-workers protesting her firing. She fired the entire accounting staff.

After bringing the family together, Jack discovered his father was really alive and that Eddie was pulling a scam on him and the entire staff of the show. Jack's siblings were angry when they discovered Eddie's lie.

A fight broke out between the Donaghy siblings and Liz got caught in the middle. Jack later apologized for his brother and the rest of his family's behavior. He also told Liz that he had to hire the other Liz back, but promoted her to headquarters in Connecticut, so Liz could pursue her crush without any obstacles.
