Liz had the opportunity to meet Tracy's new business manager and even accepted a date with him. Jack approved Liz's choice to date Stephen. Liz had to make it clear to both Jack and Jenna that she didn't even take notice that Stephen was black.

Tracy became nervous when Kenneth told him that the notorious record producer, Ridiculous was looking for him. Kenneth confided that Ridiculous probably wanted answers to why Kenneth wouldn't let him into Tracy's after hour party. Tracy became furious that Kenneth disrespected Ridiculous at the party.

While on her date, Liz was shocked to find that she and Stephen had absolutely nothing in common. She tried to end things well with him, but he accused her of dumping him because of his race. She felt so bad, she ordered dessert and then made out with him.

Ridiculous agreed to hawk Jack's terrible tasting champagne if Tracy would host the Source awards. Tracy was upset that Jack would sign him up to host the awards show. Tracy told Jack that if he hosted, he'd probably get shot by one of his rap enemies.

Tracy channeled his inner Oprah and agreed to host the Source awards. Jack didn't expect him to actually dress like Oprah while assuming hosting duties. Liz discovered that Tracy brought a gun along for protection. She grabbed it from him and accidentally shot Stephen in the butt. He accused her of shooting him because she was a racist.

Because of the shooting fiasco and his problems with Kenneth, Ridiculous refused to do any more business with Jack and his champagne company. Jack agreed that it was probably for the best. Ridiculous accused Jack, Liz, Tracy and Kenneth of making a mockery of the Source awards.
